Mockingbird
Prompt: You get kidnapped by hydra on a mission and Bucky has to comfort your daughter as he puts her to bed. Sam watches and is...slightly concerned.
TW: dark themes, implied violence/killing, fluff, Bucky as a dad (because I feel like that deserves a warning of its own), LANGUAGE!
Where is she? It's a day past when she was supposed to be back.
"Daddy?" Hailey says walking up to me with her blanket in hand. My face softens and I squat down to her level.
"Yes sweetheart?" I say.
"Wheres mommy?" She asks.
"Mommy's still out right now." I say trying to hide the flicker of pain and fear in my eyes.
"Is mommy okay?" She asks.
"Mommy's fine sweetheart. She just got a little bit lost." I say.
"Mommy's lost?" She asks upper lip trembling.
"Now hush little baby. Everythings gonna be alright. Stiffen that upper lip up little lady, I told ya. Daddy's here to hold ya through the night. I know mommy's not here right now, and we don't know why we feel how we feel inside. It may seem a little crazy, pretty baby, but I promise mama's gon' be alright." I say picking her up and holding her crying form to mine stoking her hair.
"And if you ask me to, daddy's gonna buy you a mockingbird. I'ma give you the world. I'ma buy a diamond ring for you, I'ma sing for you. I'll do anything for you to see you smile." I say sweetly before noticing she's asleep. I stand up and carry her to her bed. I stroke her hair one last time. Sam sneaks in to check on me unknown to me.
"And if that mockingbird don't sing, and that ring don't shine. I'ma break that birdie's neck. I'll go back to the jeweler who sold it to ya. And make him eat every carat. Don't fuck with dad."
I turn around to see Sam standing in the doorway with a shocked expression on his face.
"Fuck'd you expect? I'm the winter soldier after all." I say pushing past him pulling on my jacket. "Watch her, I'm going to get her mom back."

Bucky's baby girl who loves his metal arm.
She runs hot just like her daddy, the serum also coursing through her keeping her extra warm. She's all fussy until Bucky cradles her in his left arm and the content sigh she lets out feeling his cool metal against her warm, chubby cheek is unmatched.
It's also perfect when she starts teething. No other toys do it like daddy's thumb. She's happily tucked in the crook of his arm, two tiny hands holding onto his much larger one so she can get a proper grip and chew on his fingers. The coldness soothes her gums.
Bucky's babygirl who only falls asleep when he holds her. It's not that she doesn't fall asleep with her mommy, but she's clearly picked up this habit directly from you. Her daddy's chest is her favourite place to be and you can't complain because you feel the exact same way. There's nothing cuter than her little gummy smile while sleeping contently on daddy's chest, his metal fingers rubbing her back in soothing circles. She practically gets lost in him when he holds her, such a tiny bundle wrapped up around metal and muscle. Of course he gives you the exact same treatment after she's around asleep in her crib and you're also softly snoring moments later.
(Just a rogue thought but imagine Bucky doesn't get the playful pout you make whenever his daughter whines to cuddle up with him, taking away from his snuggle time from you. He so very clearly has time for you both. Then you have a son. The places have been switched as he watches his babyboy coo and giggle in your arms between nursing and Bucky isn't jealous of his own son but he 100% ready for his turn to be in your lap with your boobs in his face. When his son only sleeps on mommy's warm chest with all the skin to skin contact, he's side eyeing you with his shirt off, ready for cuddles immediately after. He's a menace and it's the cutest thing)

The creak of a heavy pair of boots crossing over the threshold found your ears, though didn’t persuade your neck to twist around and see who had appeared in the doorway.
“Miss?” Bucky’s tone echoed quietly throughout the room as his metal hand continued to clutch the doorhandle he’d just twisted.
But instead of tearing your eyes away from the night sky that twinkled on the other side of the window, you instead continued to sit on the floor, the fancy dress you’d been forced into wrinkling around your legs, as you faintly began to murmur, “you know, I wanted to be an astronaut when I was little…” your eyes traced one of the constellations gleaming above, “it wasn’t because I had some fascination with space, but it was the one thing I could imagine that would take me as far away from here as possible…” a breath escaped you before your vision finally floated back down to earth and you glanced over your shoulder, “would you mind closing the door? It’s so loud out there…”
As you reunited your gaze to the world outside and you heard the door shut behind you, the mobster then carefully asked, “are you alright?”
“Don’t,” a sharp breath filled your lungs as you shook your head and your eyes instantly squeezed shut, “don’t do that… don’t act like you care just because my father pays you. I know you’re no better than all of the others out there…”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he tried to conceal his painful awareness of your situation.
“I know what the others say behind my back,” you uttered, your mind haunted by their voices, playing the comments on a loop till they turned into boiling tar, “poor Y/n, weak and broken Y/n who is crazy and could never really be a part of this family… but unfortunately for everyone, I am,” you breathed, memories of your adolescence flooded your system, how they had sent you away to a broken institution at the smallest sign of vulnerability, “so I could never just leave. I couldn’t go out and earn my own money, they would cut off any attempt I made of getting a job in this city,” you pointed out their power, “and if I tried to get away, move to somewhere else, then they would have to take care of that as well because they can’t have a liability just out there. They own me, and they’ve made sure that I am nothing without them, and with them, I’d never be able to accomplish a goddamn thing. They wouldn’t hesitate to cut my life short if I ever stepped out of line again, you know that, it happened to my aunt… for all I know, it’ll probably happen as soon as my brother takes over, it is after all what everyone has surely wished for since the day I was born…”
As those last few venting words escaped your lips, a sinking feeling bloomed in your stomach as you realised those shattering truths hadn’t been contained in your thoughts alone.
“Oh shit…” tears began to blur your vision as you spun around and jaggedly rose to your feet, “please don’t tell anyone about any of that,” you took a panicked step forward, “I–… I didn’t mean any of it, it’s not–…” your chest rose and fell rapidly as you stared back at the gangster, “what do you want?” you attempted desperately, “do you want money? I could talk to my father and give you another leg up? I’ll give you whatever you want, just please don’t tell anyone, I–…”
An idea then struck through your terrified blubbering, and without giving it another thought, you dropped down to your knees before him.
“What are you doing?” he finally spoke, blinking down at you by his feet.
Wiping your cheek as a steady flow of tears rolled down them, you then reached out for Bucky’s belt and sniffled, “you can have me, if that’s what could buy your silence.”
But instead, your father’s right-hand man grabbed your hands, “stop,” he pleaded, “just stop.”
Blinking up into his eyes, your hazy vision then drifted down to his fingers enveloping your wrists before you gloomily concluded, “…right…of course… I get it,” your head bowed even further as you uttered, “why would you think of me any differently… of course, you wouldn’t want me to touch you, you probably think I’m cursed just like the rest of them do…”
But instead of ripping his touch away from your skin as if it was a scorching flame, Bucky’s frame suddenly lowered to be at your level, kneeling by you before he lifted one of your palms up to cup his stubbly cheek.
“I don’t,” a faint shake found his head, “never have,” you found yourself floating away into the ocean of his eyes as he stared back at you, his slow breath fanning across your wet cheeks at the close proximity, “I won’t tell anyone what you said,” he promised, his deep voice nearly at a whisper, “you have my word.”
But as you were filled with equal amounts of uncertainty, as well as shock, footsteps on the other side of the door found you both and tore you apart, just before the door ripped open and in strolled the boss himself.
“Barnes!” your father’s glare landed on the mobster first before it shifted to find you, hastily wiping your cheeks, “oh great, you found her,” he uttered impatiently, “darling, come, it’s time for your brother to cut the cake. You need to be there,” he swiftly waved a hand for you to shadow him.
The storm of the party made you feel as if you could come undone and burst into tears at any moment, pushing and shoving your shaky soul till you felt like just a tiny speck of dust floating around in the air. Keeping your gaze on the floor as you pushed through the bustling crowds, it stayed there as your sibling sank a shiny blade into the ridiculously elaborate cake that was rolled out for everyone to applaud.
Raw and bleeding while the others drank and laughed, your vision finally found enough courage to flicker up, though only to find those same blue eyes, across the room and locked upon you.
When the music soon was cranked up high and people swarmed to the middle of the floor in pairs, you briefly spotted one of your brother’s friends, a guy not too far from your own age, march straight towards you with an air of confidence that couldn’t help but relax your tense shoulders as you were slowly filled with hope.
But as he neared and a greeting fell from your lips, a confused look muddled up his features as he shot you a glance before grabbing the waiting hand of a girl standing in the crowd behind you.
Amused snickers and cruel comments found your ears even though you knew their tones attempted to be silent.
“What a freak.”
“Could you imagine if it had actually been her he’d wanted to dance with? In her dreams.”
“She should just run back to that insane asylum she somehow escaped from.”
With your back soon pressed up against one of the perimeter walls, a shadow then came to darken the spot on the floor your reddened eyes were glued to.
“You wanna dance?” you glanced up with a wide pair of eyes to spot Bucky settled in beside you.
“Why?” your brows knit together, “so that everyone can have another thing to laugh about?”
Holding out his palm, he then let out a sigh, “just take my hand,” and the next thing you knew, your fingers were tangled in his own.
Once he’d led you out onto the floor, your eyes darting around to all the bewildered glances that shot your way, a sudden breath then filled your lungs as his wide palm slid over your waist and dragged you in closer to his frame, causing your vision to cease their torture and meet his own steady gaze instead.
The sway was slow and intimate, though you weren’t sure if the sensation terrified or calmed you, as the intoxicating way he made you feel had previously been something you’d packed far away as just an inconsequential crush back when he’d first started working for your father. Though as he held you in his arms and showed you a rare display of compassion, how could your heart not begin to thump once more?
With your gaze hazily cast over his shoulder as you danced so near that your cheeks almost touched, the warmth of his hand then slid down to your lower back before he whispered in your ear, “I know it won’t fix anything, but if it was up to me, you’d be the one inheriting this whole business, not your brother,” he uttered sincerely under his breath, “he’s a hot-headed idiot, while you are stronger and more brilliant than all of these fools combined.”

Your dad has been overprotective of you since the day you were born, which you understand. He just wants to keep you safe is all. You’re his baby and he doesn’t want anything to happen to you.
You and your dad tell each other everything. Almost everything. You haven’t told him you’ve been getting bullied at school. You know what he’ll do if you do tell him.
You walked in the house with the hood of your sweatshirt covering your head. You were looking down at the floor as you were walking to your bedroom. You didn’t make it past the kitchen.
“You’re not going to say hi to your dad?” Bucky jokes.
“Hi, dad.” You mumbled without looking at him.
Bucky frowns. He watched you go to your bedroom. He also noticed that the hood of your sweatshirt was covering your head. You only have it on when it’s raining, snowing, cold, and when you’re sick. He’s going to figure out what’s wrong. He went to your room. He walked in your room at the same time as you took down the hood of your sweatshirt.
“Doll, are you ok?” He asks.
“I’m fine, dad.” You say, turning around to face him.
You almost forgot about the bruise on your forehead. You quickly covered it with your hand. Bucky furrows his eyebrows when you did that.
“What’s on your head?” He asks curiously.
“Nothing…” You say.
Bucky crossed his arms over his chest and gave you the dad stare. It’s always so effective like it is right now. You sighed to yourself. You know you can’t hide this from your dad. He’s going to see it anyway. You took your hand off your forehead, revealing the bruise to your dad. Bucky’s eyes went wide when he seen it. He walked closer to you to get a better look at it. He gently touched it with his thumb. You hiss at how sensitive it is right now. Bucky retracted his hand.
“Come with me.” He says softly.
Bucky took you to the living room and told you to sit down on the couch. He went to the kitchen, getting an ice pack out of the freezer. He went back to the living room and handed you the ice pack. You put it on your forehead. He sat down next to you.
“Tell me who gave you that bruise and don’t even think about lying to me.” Bucky says sternly.
“A few kids at school shoved me into a locker at school and I hit my head on it.” You tell him. “At first, they just insulted me and threw wads of paper at me, but it just kept getting worse.” You say.
Bucky’s jaw clenched at the thought of someone hurting his baby. You know that look all too well. You haven’t seen that look in a while. The last time you seen that look was when HYDRA tried to get their hands on you a few years ago.
“What are their names?” He asks.
“Why?” You asked.
“So I can tell their parents what they did to you.” He says.
“No! Please don’t do that!” You pleaded, grabbing onto his arm.
Your eyes teared up and you broke down in tears. Bucky wrapped his arms around you, holding you close to him. He’s right and you know it. The bullying will keep getting worse if you don’t let your dad help you.
“Those can’t go unpunished, Y/N.” Bucky says.
“I know.” You say quietly.
“I’m going to your school to talk to the principal on Monday about what those kids did to you.” He says.
You knew better than to argue with your dad about this. You might as well give in and let your dad talk to the principal.
“Ok.” You say.
“I’m only doing this because I love you and I don’t want anything to happen to you, doll. You’re my baby and I love you.” He says softly.
“I love you too, dad.” You say, looking up at him.
Bucky smiles, kissing your forehead. You smiled back.
“Now, do you want to get milkshakes to make you feel better?” He asks.
“Yes!” You answered happily.

Bucky Barnes x Fem!Stark!reader
SUMMARY: Bucky Barnes finds himself at the center of a political storm. Haunted by his past as the Winter Soldier, Bucky is pursued by both friends and foes, unsure of who he can trust. In the midst of this turmoil, he encounters someone who approaches him with a genuine sense of empathy. Unlike others who see him as a threat or a tool, she sees the person behind the trauma. The internal struggle between his desire for connection and his fear of causing harm adds to the anguish he feels daily, making every interaction a bittersweet reminder of the man he wants to be versus the man he fears he still is.
WARNINGS: Cursing, heavy angst, marvel theme violence, some talks of blood and gore, self depicting thoughts, Tony's kinda a shitty father, talks of emotional trauma & anxiety, HYDRA
A/N: I love Bucky, so I couldn’t help myself in writing this! He deserves the world, marvel needs to leave him alone, so here’s my take on his happy ending! Beautiful divider graphic by @sister-lucifer <3

Touching down at the Avengers Compound, the Quinjet’s engines hummed softly as they powered down. You stepped off the lowering ramp and took in the sprawling complex. The building was an impressive blend of sleek modern design and cutting-edge technology, lush greenery surrounded the wide-open spaces. The peaceful landscape contrasted against the bustling chaos of the city, where you spent most of your life.
Your dad, Tony Stark, stood waiting for you near the entrance, concern, and determination etched across his aging features. The familiar scent of motor oil and cologne filled your senses as he enveloped you in a quick hug. His grip around you was firm, silently reassuring you that he was there for you.
“Welcome home, kid,” he said, a small smile tugging at his lips. However, his eyes revealed the worry he had tried to mask. “Come on, let me show you around.”
Following him through the compound, you passed training rooms that were filled with state-of-the-art equipment, common areas where you caught glimpses of some familiar faces, and the impressive hangar with various vehicles and aircraft. The building buzzed with activity, yet there was still a sense of order and purpose.
Finally, you reached Tony’s sanctuary, his lab. The place you knew he felt most at home. You marveled at the array of gadgets and projects scattered around, as you followed his gesture for you to step in. Screens displayed holographic schematics, while robotic arms moved with precision, a new creation being assembled. The faint hum of machinery was a comforting backdrop.
“And, this is where the magic happens,” Tony said, pride touching his voice. Watching you take it all in, his lips played a small smile. “But, before you get too comfortable, there’s something we need to talk about.”
Raising your eyebrow suspiciously, you waited for him to continue. Looking uncharacteristically nervous, he ran a hand through his hair.
“I know things have been… rough since the incident,” he began, trying carefully to choose his words. He leaned against a workbench, fixing his gaze on a point somewhere behind you, crossing his arms over his chest. “And, I know you’re struggling to control the Extremis,” he trailed off, pausing before he continued, “but, we can’t have another accident like that. Not again.”
The memory of the uncontrollable heat coursing through your veins caused you to flinch. The sight of the flames, the smell of burning wood, the panic in the firefighter’s voice as they tried to contain the damage. Since it saved your life as a child, you lived with the Extremis virus. Your mother, Maya Hansen’s legacy, turned you into a ticking time bomb.
“I know, Dad,” you sighed, shifting your weight from one foot to the other. “I’ll do better.”
Shaking his head, Tony pushed off the workbench and stepped closer to you. “It’s not about doing better. It’s about getting help. Which is why I’ve arranged for someone to keep an eye on you.”
The door to the lab opened, snapping your attention away from your dad before you could protest. And in walked, Bucky Barnes– The Winter Soldier. You had seen him in action and heard the ghost stories, but meeting him in person… that was different. He was imposing, a steely gaze seemingly assessing every detail of the room, and you. As he approached, his movements were fluid, almost predatory.
“Tin-Man, this is my daughter,” Tony spoke as he gestured toward you. “She’s going to be staying here for a while. And… you’re going to be looking out for her.”
Bucky’s eyes narrowed slightly toward you, and you could see in his piercing gaze that he was as thrilled about this arrangement as you were. “I was expecting a kid,” he said bluntly, a hint of annoyance carrying in his voice. Crossing his arms over his chest, the metal of his arm caught against the light.
“No, I’m not a kid,” you snap back, matching his posture. “And, I don’t need a glorified babysitter. Unless,” you paused, shoot Bucky a playful smirk. “You’re here to tuck me in and read me a bedtime story?”
Tony stepped between you, holding up a hand to forestall any pending argument. “Easy, both of you. This isn’t up for debate. Barnes’ here to help, whether you like it or not.”
You glare at Bucky, who returns the look with an equal intensity. “Fantastic,” you said, your voice dripped with sarcasm. “My very own bodyguard, don’t expect me to make this easy for you.”
Smirking, Bucky’s eyes filled with amusement almost as if he was accepting a challenge. “Wouldn’t dream of it, Princess.”
“Don’t call me that,” you snap, your iris’ blazed with anger, a burning orange glow.
His smirk never faltered. “Whatever you say… Princess.”
Watching the exchange, Tony’s expression changed to one of concern and exasperation. His face, usually composed, now showed signs of strained patience. Rubbing a hand over his face, he tried to stifle a sigh. “Alright, both of you,” he injects, his voice filled with frustration. “This isn’t a battlefield. Can we at least try to keep it professional?”
You took a glance at Tony, then back at Bucky, who still had a smirk plastered across his face, enjoying the friction. Tony continued, his tone firm but weary. “I get that you two won’t see eye to eye, but let’s keep the drama to a minimum. We’re here to make sure things don’t  go up in flames, literally.”
Squaring off with Bucky, you took another step closer. The heat between you both was almost tangible. “I mean it, Winter Soldier. I’m not some dame in distress that you get to boss around.”
Leaning in, his voice was a low, taunting whisper. “And I’m not some nanny here to hold your hand.”
The tension crackled between you, and you noticed how his eyes were cold and calculating, with a flicker of something else– something that mirrored the heat in your own. You weren’t sure if it was anger or something more, but whatever it was, made your heart race.
“Good,” you retorted, sarcasm stayed laced within your words. “I wouldn’t want you thinking you could handle me.”
His eyes locked with yours, his smirking only growing. “Trust me, Princess, I can handle anything you throw at me.”
Scoffing, you rolled your eyes, yet you couldn’t help but feel the thrill of his challenge rush through you. “We’ll see about that.”
As you turned to leave, you felt his gaze burning into your back. This wasn’t over– far from it. And somehow, the thought of that excited you as much as it infuriated you.

You're here because I'm a demon
Tumblr media
masterlist
summary: you’ve been on the run since you were six, running from your father that tried to kill you because he was convinced you were possessed by a demon. What happens when you end up on the Avenger’s radar
pairing: Natasha x teen reader, Bucky x teen reader, WinterWidow x teen reader
warnings: fluff
genre: angst, fluff
words: 1377
a/n: me, posting a fic?! what on earth, it must be a miracle
You do not have my permission to repost, copy or translate my work
 |——————————— ⴵ ———————————|
It’s not like you’d consider yourself a bad kid. You were basically a law abiding citizen, and it’s not like you went out on a murder spree or anything. You were innocent, yet you were still associated with the recent murder.
You found out when you took three rights and one of the Avengers, Steve Rogers, you believe, was still following you.
Fucking idiot.
Had they send the spy Natasha Romanoff or the assassin Bucky Barnes they would have been able to sense you were on to them, and they defintely wouldn’t have kept following you after you took three right turns. Turns out Steve Rogers is a real bloody amateur.
Right now, you were returning to your one bedroom apartment, planning to pack all your stuff as quickly as possible and make a break for it.
However, when you enter the apartment, you can immediately tell someone is in there.
You move to the kitchen, dropping your shoulder bag on the counter of the kitchen island and turning on the water boiler.
“Would you care for tea, or are you more of a coffee person?” you ask the person in your apartment. Sure enough, a red-head steps out of the shadows, not looking in the slightest surprised that you knew she was there.
You shake your head when she doesn’t respond, opting to ask another question instead.
“What about your partner? Would he care for some tea?”
The woman in front of you, who you quickly identified as Natasha Romanoff, shakes her
head, turning to her side where Bucky Barnes steps out from the shadows.
“No tea?” you ask, shrugging while pouring yourself a cup.
You move to the kitchen island, pulling out a barstool and sitting down.
“Are you just gonna stand there and stare creepily?” you ask when neither Natasha or Bucky move.
They seem to startle out of whatever trance they were in and they move over to where you are sitting. Natasha takes a seat on one of the barstools while Bucky ops to remain standing. You sip your tea casually, patiently waiting until one of them starts speaking. You know why they’re here, but you take the fact that you are not yet in cuffs as a good sign.
“We didn’t expect the lack of violence,” Natasha confesses when she has recollected herself.
You let out a small snort. “Yeah, even I’m not stupid enough to try and take on the deadliest Avengers and a super soldier.” You take a breath, turning to look at Bucky who remains staring broodily at you.
“You should give your friend some lessons on how to follow someone. I was disappointed in the Avengers’ lack of capability. I noticed him right away,” you state, and weren’t you paying close attention you might’ve missed Bucky’s twitch of his lips.
“Why aren’t you running?” Natasha then asks, making you turn back to her.
“Why would I? I haven’t done anything wrong,” you say, and Natasha nods.
“According to our sources you killed someone,” Bucky says, and you sigh before you look down at you cup of tea.
“That wasn’t me. It was my father…” you trail off, not wanting to dump your trauma in front of two Avengers. However, the moment you hear Natasha take in a sharp breath, you know you’re doomed to spill your secrets.
“Are you defending him?” she asks, making you scoff immediately.
“He’s an asshole,” you reply, and instead of judging you like you’d expected, Natasha nods in acknowledgement while Bucky offers what could pass as a sympathetic expression.
“Why?” Natasha asks.
“He is convinced there’s a demon inside of me. He’s been trying to kill me since I was six, and when I escaped he’s been doing everything in his power to try and ruin my life,” you confess.
Natasha and Bucky share a look before Natasha turns to you and speaks again.
“So it’s your father framing you for the murder?” she asks to clarify. You nod.
“Come with us,” Bucky then says, taking you off guard a little. You blink and take a second to process his offer.
“Like, in cuffs…?” you ask confused.
Natasha gives you a soft smile. “Like as a guest,” she says.
“Why would you do that? You don’t even know me, and you have no idea what I am capable of,” you say, scared of trusting someone far too easily.
“We don’t need to know you, or know what you are capable of, although it would be nice to learn that in the future. We’re not the bad guys, I promise. We only want to help people, and right now we can help you,” Natasha starts, leaning forward and giving you another smile.
“You can come with us, and we will make sure that you will be safe in the Avengers compound. You know who we are, so you are probably aware what we are capable of.”
Then Bucky steps forward and supports himself by placing his hands on the kitchen island counter.
“We will protect you, we promise. Nothing will happen to you as long as you’re with us,” Bucky promises.
You take a moment to think, but in reality you’ve already decided. You’ve been on your own for years, and you are definitely not in the mood to be on your own any longer.
“Okay,” you agree.
Both Natasha and Bucky smile, and Natasha stands up.
“Is there anything you’d like to take with you?” she asks. You nod and stand up as well, abandoning your glass of tea and heading into your bedroom. You only have one bag of possessions, and you’d never willingly leave it behind.
You walk to the bed, stuffing the stuffed bunny your brother gave to you into the bag before reentering the living room.
“Ready,” you state, slinging your backpack over your shoulder.
Natasha smiles and nods, but you can see the sympathetic expression she’s trying to hide.
Bucky leans forwards, taking your bag from you and putting his hand on your lower back, guiding you out of the building and towards a car.
“Have you ever driven before?” Natasha asks you while Bucky puts your bag in the back.
You nod, reaching into your pocket to hand her your drivers license.
Natasha smiles when you show her, looking over the little card. “Well look at that, you’re already an expert. It’s good information for us to know, even though Bucky will be driving right now,” she explains, handing you your license back.
Meanwhile, Bucky opens the back door for you, helping you into the car while Natasha settles into the passengers seat. Bucky takes the drivers seat.
“You okay back there?” Bucky asks once he’s started the car, starting to pull away from the building. You just nod, clutching your stomach and hoping neither of them heard it rumble. It’s been a few hours since you last ate, and even then it’s difficult to keep a healthy diet when on the run.
Bucky and Natasha share a knowing look, one that you miss, and Bucky steps on the gas pedal.
“Well,” he starts, “I don’t know about you, but I am carving some fast food. Been such a long time since I’ve been away from the compound, I could use some real greasy food.” He looks in the mirror, making eye contact with your longing eyes.
“What are you feeling?” he asks, yet you just shrug.
Then, Natasha jumps into the conversation. “I want McDonald’s,” she states, and you stomach rumbles at the thought.
You had McDonald’s, once, when you were nine and your brother was still with you. It was a real treat at the time, and you were ecstatic to find a small toy hidden amongst your food.
“Would you like some McDonald’s?” Bucky asks, and you nod excitedly before you can stop yourself.
You don’t want to seem rude and have them spend much money on you, but you can’t deny how badly you are craving some nice fast food to soothe your belly.
“McDonald’s it is,” Natasha states happily.
Turns out, instead of your day ending with your hands cuffed, your day ended with grease and sauce sticking to your fingers, a stable future and a stable home in your future.

BRAT TAMER— dark! bucky barnes x brat! stark! reader
WARNINGS: alcohol, suggestive scenes, age gap, power imbalance, brat behaviour, dark themes, tramp stamp, harassment, swearing, SMUT.
MINORS DNI
Tumblr media
You knew exactly what you were doing.
The moment you stepped into the Avengers Tower, heels clicking against the pristine marble floors, every pair of eyes flicked to you. Not that you cared. In fact, you reveled in it. The attention. The annoyance. The way your father, Tony Stark, ran a hand down his face the second he saw your outfit—if it could even be called that.
A tiny crop top, barely-there shorts, and heels that made your legs look like they went on forever.
“Jesus Christ,” Tony muttered under his breath.
You smirked, flicking your hair over your shoulder as you waltzed past him like you owned the place. “Daddy, that’s not a very warm welcome,” you pouted. “I thought you’d be happy to see me.”
Tony exhaled sharply, rubbing his temples. “Do you ever dress appropriately? Just once?”
You scoffed. “What’s the fun in that?”
Truthfully, you liked pushing his buttons. You’d been doing it for years, and it never got old. Tony Stark, billionaire genius, could handle aliens, mad scientists, and world-ending threats—but his own daughter? A nightmare in designer heels.
“Where’s Morgan?” you asked, though you didn’t really care.
“In her room. And don’t—”
Too late. You were already walking in that direction.
Tony sighed, shooting a look at Steve and Bucky, who had been watching the interaction silently. “I don’t know what to do with her.”
Bucky’s stare lingered as you disappeared down the hallway. You had that effect on people—especially men. And you knew it.
Morgan adored you.
Which was the problem.
She was ten, all wide eyes and admiration, soaking up every little thing you did like a sponge. And Tony? He hated it.
You sat on her bed, lazily scrolling through your phone as she rattled on about school, her friends, some dumb science project Tony was helping her with. You weren’t really listening.
“Can I do my hair like yours?” Morgan asked suddenly, eyes shining with hope.
You smirked. “You wanna be like me, huh?”
She nodded enthusiastically.
Tony’s voice cut through the room like a blade. “No, she doesn’t.”
You looked up to find him standing in the doorway, arms crossed. “Morgan, go get ready for dinner,” he said firmly.
Morgan hesitated, looking between the two of you before reluctantly nodding and slipping out of the room.
You raised an eyebrow. “Really? That’s the influence you don’t want?”
Tony stepped inside, lowering his voice. “I mean it, Y/N. She looks up to you. I won’t let you screw her up.”
You rolled your eyes. “Relax, Dad. I’m not telling her to go rob a bank.”
“No, but you are showing up dressed like that,” he shot back. “Parading around like you have no responsibilities, blowing through money like it’s endless—”
“Isn’t it?” you cut in, smirking.
Tony pinched the bridge of his nose. “Jesus, kid. I don’t know what to do with you.”
“Nothing,” you said simply, standing up and stretching, the hem of your top riding up just to be provocative. “Because I don’t live under your roof anymore, remember?”
You walked past him, brushing against his shoulder as you left.
And just like that, you were gone.
Later that night, Bucky found you at the bar.
You were perched on a stool, sipping a martini, legs crossed, eyes scanning the room like a predator looking for prey.
He slid onto the stool beside you, silent at first. You noticed him, of course. How could you not? He was hard to ignore—tall, broad, that metal arm glinting under the dim lights.
“Well, well,” you mused, tilting your head. “Didn’t take you for a bar kind of guy.”
Bucky shrugged, eyes flickering over your outfit. “Didn’t take you for the kind of girl who needs attention to survive.”
You grinned. “Oh, but I do. What’s life without a little fun?”
“Fun,” Bucky repeated, tone unreadable. “That what you’re looking for?”
You leaned in slightly, resting your elbow on the bar, chin propped in your hand. “Depends. You offering?”
His jaw tensed. You were pushing. Flirting. Teasing. And you knew it was working.
“You think this is a game?” he asked, voice low.
You smirked. “Isn’t it?”
Bucky exhaled through his nose, shaking his head slightly. “Careful, sweetheart.”
You arched a brow. “Or what?”
He didn’t answer. Just took a sip of his drink, eyes lingering on you.
Breaking the Brat
Part Two
Pairing: Dark!Bucky Barnes x Stark!Brat!Reader
Warnings: Dark themes, age gap, manipulation, power imbalance, bratty behavior, suggestive themes. Slow burn.
Bucky didn’t play your game.
That was the first thing that set him apart from the others.
Most men—especially the older ones—were predictable. Easy to manipulate. A bat of your lashes, a sultry smile, a teasing touch, and they’d trip over themselves to get what you wanted.
But Bucky? He saw right through it.
And that? That made you want to play even more.
“Not much of a talker, huh?” You leaned in, close enough that your perfume lingered between you. “That’s okay. I like a challenge.”
Bucky glanced at you, unimpressed. “You really think you’re a challenge?”
You pouted. “Aw, that’s cute. You think I’m easy?”
He huffed out a quiet laugh. “I think you’re loud. And desperate for attention.”
Your smirk didn’t falter. “And yet, here you are, giving it to me.”
Bucky didn’t answer. He just took another sip of his drink, jaw tight.
That’s what intrigued you the most.
He wanted to say something. Wanted to snap, to put you in your place. You could see it in his eyes. The restraint. The discipline. It was a game of tug-of-war, and you were determined to win.
“So, tell me,” you mused, twirling the olive in your martini between your fingers. “What does a guy like you do for fun?”
Bucky didn’t blink. “Nothing you’d survive.”
A thrill shot through you.
“You don’t know what I can handle,” you said, licking the martini off your lips.
His gaze flickered there, just for a second. A small victory.
Then, he downed the rest of his drink and stood.
“Go home, kid.”
Kid.
The word sent a rush of irritation through you.
You weren’t a kid. You were a woman. A woman who could make grown men fall at her feet. A woman who could ruin a man if she wanted to.
And yet, Bucky Barnes just brushed you off like an inconvenience.
How dare he?
You watched him walk away, the muscles in his back flexing under his shirt. He didn’t turn around. Didn’t give you the satisfaction.
For the first time in a long time, you felt something foreign settle in your chest.
Frustration.
The next few weeks were fun.
For you, anyway.
You pushed. Bucky ignored. You flirted. He scoffed. You touched, teased, invaded his space—nothing.
He was a wall. Unshakable. Unmoved.
It only made you worse.
You made sure to wear the shortest skirts when you knew he was around. The highest heels. The tightest tops. You batted your lashes, brushed your fingers against his arm, pressed close to whisper things that weren’t exactly appropriate.
Still, nothing.
But you weren’t an amateur at this game.
Men had limits. And you were going to find his.
Tony had given up on you. Or at least, that’s what it felt like.
“Y/N, I swear to God,” he groaned, rubbing his temples as you scrolled through your phone.
“What now?” You didn’t bother looking up.
“You know exactly what. Do I need to spell it out? The credit card charges. The tabloids. The—” He exhaled sharply, dragging a hand down his face. “The fucking tramp stamp!”
You smirked, tilting your head. “You like it?”
Tony clenched his jaw. “You got it two hours after I told you not to.”
“Your point?”
He muttered something under his breath before shaking his head. “I don’t know what to do with you, kid.”
Your smirk faltered. There it was again. Kid. First Bucky, now Tony. You weren’t a child.
And you were going to prove it.
That night, you went too far.
And that’s exactly what you wanted.
The compound was quiet. Late. Most of the team had turned in for the night, but you knew Bucky was still awake.
You found him in the gym. Alone.
He was mid-rep, lifting weights that made your arms ache just looking at them.
You leaned against the doorway, watching, a slow smirk tugging at your lips.
“Wow,” you drawled. “Those arms could do some damage.”
Bucky didn’t stop. Didn’t acknowledge you.
You stepped inside, the sound of your heels clicking against the floor.
Nothing.
You let out a dramatic sigh, strutting over to where he stood. “Ignoring me again? Starting to think you don’t like me, Barnes.”
He finished his set, setting the weights down with a quiet thud.
Still, he didn’t look at you.
You stepped closer, trailing a manicured nail down his metal arm. “I bet you could wrap this around my throat and snap it like a twig.”
That got him. Bucky’s head snapped toward you, eyes dark.
Oh, that was satisfying.
“You wanna test that theory?” His voice was low. Dangerous. A shiver ran through you. You weren’t stupid. You knew when you were poking a bear. But that was half the fun.
“I dunno,” you mused, pressing closer. “Might be fun.”
Bucky exhaled slowly. You could practically see him forcing himself to relax.
Then, he turned and walked away. Just like that. No reaction. No anger. No fire.
It was… disappointing. Until he spoke.
“You should be careful, Y/N.” You frowned. “Of what?”
Bucky stopped at the door, back still to you. “Of what happens when I finally stop holding back.” Then, he was gone.
You stood there for a long moment, staring after him. And for the first time, your smirk faded. Because for the first time, you wondered… Had you finally pushed too far?
It had been a week since Bucky’s warning. A week of silence.
You were used to attention—hell, you craved it—but this was different. The absence of Bucky’s usual snarky responses, his cold stares, his barely-contained tension—it was unsettling. You found yourself looking for him more than you cared to admit. You’d cornered Tony about it. “Where’s Bucky? He’s been MIA.”
Tony didn’t even look up from his work. “I don’t know. Probably avoiding you.”
“Really?” you asked, leaning against the counter. “You think so?”
Tony finally glanced up, his eyes tired but sharp. “Look, kid. I get it. He’s a good guy, but I’m not letting you run around playing your little games with him. Bucky’s not your usual prey.”
You scowled, crossing your arms. “I’m not a damn animal, Dad.” Tony didn’t flinch. “You sure about that?”
Two nights later, you decided to take matters into your own hands.
The Tower was dark, quiet—everyone else was either gone or asleep. You knew Bucky would be up, alone, in the gym. He was predictable like that.
You stood in front of your mirror, inspecting yourself.
A tight black leather jacket, a low-cut tank top that barely covered your chest, and black ripped jeans. Nothing too out there, but enough to make a statement.
Perfect.
You made your way down the long hallway, heels tapping softly on the floors, feeling the familiar rush of power as you approached the gym.
And there he was.
Bucky was lifting weights, his movements precise and fluid, his concentration unwavering. He hadn’t noticed you yet, so you took the chance to observe.
He was different tonight. His body was tense, his jaw set as he worked through each set like a machine. But it was more than that. There was something in his eyes—something predatory.
And it made you want to push him.
You sauntered into the room, your presence noticeable, but Bucky didn’t look up. He kept going, each lift smoother than the last, each breath steady and controlled.
It was like you weren’t even there.
You didn’t like that.
“Why so serious?” you purred, stepping closer, your voice dripping with a flirtation you didn’t bother to hide.
Bucky paused for a moment, finally glancing at you. But he didn’t respond.
You took it as a challenge.
“You know,” you continued, sliding your hands down your sides provocatively, “if you need some motivation, I could give you a reason to work a little harder.”
Bucky didn’t move. He just stared at you, his gaze unreadable.
“Come on, Barnes,” you cooed, moving closer, your breath warm against the cool air of the gym. “What’s it going to take to get a rise out of you?”
This time, he spoke. His voice was low and measured, like a warning. “You’re treading on thin ice, Y/N.”
You smirked. “I like the danger.”
Bucky finally set the weights down, his movements slow but purposeful. He stepped toward you, his eyes dark with something you couldn’t quite place—anger? Frustration? Or something more?
“Last warning, kid,” he muttered, grabbing your wrist before you could react, his grip firm but controlled.
You didn’t pull away. Instead, you leaned in closer, your lips brushing the shell of his ear. “What are you going to do if I don’t listen, huh? Hit me?”
He didn’t answer right away. His breathing was steady, but you could feel the tension in his body. It was palpable, like a string pulled tight, waiting to snap.
“I warned you,” Bucky growled, voice gravelly.
Before you could respond, he spun you around, pinning you against the wall with a force that made your breath catch.
And there it was—the raw, unfiltered power.
You knew you were pushing him, but this time, you didn’t care.
“You’re playing with fire, Y/N,” he said, his voice soft, but laced with a dangerous edge. “And I don’t think you fully understand the consequences.”
You couldn’t help yourself. “Try me.”
Bucky leaned in close, his lips brushing your ear as he whispered, “You won’t like the outcome.”
But you weren’t listening. You never were.
You let your fingers trail down his chest, teasing the edges of his shirt, pressing yourself closer to him. “You can’t tell me what to do,” you said softly, letting the challenge hang between you like a spark waiting to ignite.
His hand tightened on your wrist, pulling you away from the wall and turning you to face him fully. His blue eyes were dark, unreadable, like an ocean storm waiting to break.
“You think I’m just going to let you walk all over me?” His voice dropped an octave, as if he were tasting every word. “That’s where you’re wrong, Y/N.”
You swallowed, feeling the heat rising between you, the crackling tension unmistakable. For the first time, you saw something in his eyes that made your heart skip—a flicker of something dangerous. And it made you want more.
“You think you can handle me?” you whispered, your lips inches from his. Without warning, Bucky kissed you.
It wasn’t gentle. It wasn’t soft. It was fierce—passionate, like he was claiming what was his. And you didn’t pull away. You couldn’t.
He pulled back just enough to catch his breath, but the fire in his gaze only intensified. “You have no idea what you’re asking for,” he warned, his voice dark with intent.
You stared at him, a smile tugging at your lips. “Maybe I do.”
Bucky’s lips twitched. “You’re playing with fire, sweetheart. And when you get burned, don’t come crying to me.” You shrugged, unfazed. “I’ll take my chances.”
The next morning, you barely slept.
Every time you closed your eyes, all you could see was Bucky’s cold, intense stare—the way his hand had felt on your wrist, the heat of his lips against yours.
It wasn’t the first time you’d kissed someone with that much force, but it was the first time you felt… controlled.
And you hated it.
You didn’t like being controlled. You liked to be in charge. Always.
So why did the feeling linger? Why did the thought of Bucky’s hands on you—firm, unrelenting—cause a flutter in your chest?
You shook the thought away, brushing your hair back as you stood in front of the mirror. It was just a kiss. Just a moment. You didn’t need to make it anything more.
You picked out an outfit: a tight red dress with a plunging neckline, heels high enough to make your legs look longer than they were. You liked the way the dress clung to your curves, the way it accentuated everything Bucky had noticed last night.
This was a power play. A challenge. And Bucky? He was your target. You stormed out of your room, determined to confront him.
The gym was quiet again when you entered, the hum of the equipment filling the silence. You saw Bucky, of course. He was always here, always training, always keeping to himself. But today, he didn’t look at you when you walked in.
Not at first.
You could feel the tension radiating off him, though. He could feel you, even without looking. The game hadn’t ended last night—it had only just begun.
You walked toward him, a calculated sway in your hips. You made sure to stop just behind him, letting the scent of your perfume reach his nose, just close enough that he couldn’t ignore your presence any longer.
“Morning, Bucky,” you said, leaning over slightly, letting the fabric of your dress stretch just enough to make him notice.
He stopped mid-set, his fingers wrapping around the barbell before he set it down. Slowly, deliberately, he turned to face you. His gaze was icy, but there was something more there now—a flicker of something darker. Something that told you he wasn’t as indifferent as he wanted to be.
“What do you want?” His voice was low, but there was an edge to it.
You grinned, stepping closer. “I thought we could talk.”
Bucky crossed his arms over his chest, raising an eyebrow. “About what?”
You smirked, leaning in a little closer, lowering your voice to a whisper. “About last night.”
His jaw clenched. “I told you, Y/N—”
“You told me a lot of things.” You interrupted, placing a hand on his chest, feeling the hard muscle beneath the fabric of his shirt. “But you didn’t tell me you’d be so rough. So… possessive.”
He grabbed your wrist before you could pull away, his grip firm but not painful. “You’re pushing it,” he warned, his tone deadly serious now.
“Am I?” You tilted your head, pretending to be innocent, but you saw the way his eyes flashed, the tension in his body that told you he was on the edge. “I think you like it, Bucky. I think you like the challenge.”
Bucky took a deep breath, his hold on your wrist tightening slightly. He didn’t let go, not yet. “Don’t make me do something you’ll regret.”
A small laugh escaped your lips. “Oh, Bucky,” you teased, tracing your fingers down his chest slowly, “I don’t think I’m going to regret anything.”
This time, when you looked up at him, there was no teasing in your gaze. There was only a challenge. A dare.
Bucky looked at you for a long moment, his chest rising and falling with each breath, like he was trying to calm himself. Then, slowly, he released your wrist.
“You’re playing a dangerous game,” he muttered. “And I don’t think you realize just how dangerous it is.”
You stepped back, keeping your eyes on him. “I can handle danger.”
Bucky stared at you, and for a brief moment, something flickered in his eyes—something dark, something possessive, something that made your heart race.
But then it was gone, replaced by the cold mask he usually wore.
“Keep pushing, Y/N,” he said, his voice low, his tone deadly serious. “And I’ll make sure you regret it.”
You smiled sweetly, tilting your head. “I’m counting on it.”
The next few days were a blur.
Bucky was everywhere you went. He was there when you went to the gym, there when you walked past the training room, there when you entered the kitchen. He wasn’t exactly following you, but he was always within your sight. Always within your reach.
And it drove you crazy.
You didn’t get what it was. You didn’t get why he was always near, always present. He wasn’t ignoring you anymore, but he wasn’t giving you the satisfaction either. He was… patient.
And that was something you weren’t used to.
You tried everything. You wore the sexiest outfits. You made flirtatious comments. You pushed every button you knew would make him snap.
But Bucky just watched you. Always watchful. Always calm.
The lack of reaction was maddening.
But it was that last night—when you were so tired of being ignored—that you decided to confront him. You were done waiting.
The Tower was empty again, except for you and Bucky. You knew he’d be in the gym again—he always was.
When you walked in, you didn’t say a word. You just walked up to him, grabbed his collar, and kissed him.
It was desperate. It was messy.
It was exactly what you wanted.
Bucky froze for a moment, not expecting it, but when he didn’t pull away, when he kissed you back with an intensity that sent shockwaves through your body, you realized—maybe this time, you weren’t the one in control.
Bucky’s hands gripped your arms, but he didn’t pull you away. Instead, he deepened the kiss, his lips moving with more force than you were used to, his hands now roaming, pulling you closer.
When he pulled away, his eyes were dark, and his voice was low, husky. “I warned you, Y/N.”
You smirked, feeling a rush of power. “Yeah, well, I don’t listen.”
Bucky’s lips twitched into a small smile, but there was no humor in it. “You will. Eventually.”
Breaking the Brat
Part Six
Pairing: Dark!Bucky Barnes x Stark!Brat!Reader
Warnings: Dark themes, age gap, manipulation, power imbalance, bratty behavior, suggestive themes. Slow burn.
The days following that night felt like a tightrope walk—one wrong move, and you would fall. But there was something intoxicating about it. Bucky had made it clear he was done tolerating your behavior, but the power dynamic between you both had shifted. There was no going back, and you weren’t sure if you wanted to.
Bucky didn’t let things slide, though. You could feel his presence everywhere you went, like a constant reminder of your recklessness. His eyes followed you. The way he looked at you, all sharp edges and unspoken threats, had you on edge in ways you never imagined.
The next time you saw him, you weren’t sure how things would play out. It was a casual party at Tony’s mansion, the kind of event that usually left you feeling invincible. But tonight, something was different. Bucky had been quieter than usual, lurking in the background, watching you as you flitted from one person to another. You could feel his gaze, like a weight on your back. But you weren’t going to let it bother you. You were untouchable, weren’t you?
The music was loud, the room filled with the usual mix of celebrities, billionaires, and socialites. You could already feel your heels digging into the floor as you made your way to the bar, a playful smirk on your lips. You weren’t about to let Bucky’s behavior dictate how you had fun.
But, of course, Bucky was there. Watching. Always watching.
You noticed him in the corner, his posture stiff, his jaw clenched. He was talking to Steve, but his eyes never left you. Every move you made, every glance you cast, every word you said, seemed to send a ripple through him. It was driving you crazy, the way he had this hold on you. You could feel the tension between you both, building like a slow burn.
And then, just like before, you saw him. The older man, tall, graying hair, expensive suit. He was alone at the bar. Perfect.
You walked over, letting the sway of your hips catch his attention. He looked up, eyes widening as they took you in.
“Well, aren’t you a sight for sore eyes,” he said, his voice smooth, a hint of admiration behind it.
You leaned against the bar, giving him a sly smile. “Just looking for someone to have some fun with. You seem like you might be a good candidate.”
He chuckled, his fingers brushing the rim of his glass as he studied you. “I think I could be persuaded.”
The instant his hand landed on your waist, you knew you had him. He was eating out of your palm, just like you wanted. But then you caught Bucky’s stare from across the room. He was rigid now, his eyes narrowed, his face tense with something that could have been fury—or something worse.
You felt a thrill rush through you.
You led the older man to the couch in the corner, barely glancing back at Bucky. You wanted him to feel it. The jealousy, the frustration, the helplessness. You wanted him to see you as something untouchable, something out of his control.
But before the man could do anything more than adjust his tie, Bucky appeared in front of you, his cold gaze fixed on the older man for a split second before he turned back to you. His voice was sharp, barely contained. “I think it’s time for you to leave.”
You looked up at him, your lips curling into an innocent smile, though you could tell from the vein popping in his neck that he wasn’t playing anymore. “I’m not done here yet,” you said, but there was no mistaking the challenge in your tone.
Bucky’s hand shot out, gripping your wrist with enough force to make you gasp. “You don’t get to make that decision.” He jerked you to your feet, dragging you past the man who was still trying to process the sudden intervention.
“Bucky—”
“You think you can flirt your way into whatever you want, don’t you?” His voice was low, each word like a warning. “You think this game is funny, but you’re out of your depth.”
You pulled your wrist from his grip, but the way he was looking at you made you feel cornered, trapped in a way that only fueled your defiance. “Maybe I just like making you mad,” you shot back, not even trying to hide the challenge in your voice.
“Is that it? You get off on making me angry?” His eyes darkened, the tension between you both thickening with each passing second.
You tilted your head, the playful edge in your voice never wavering. “Maybe I do.”
For a brief moment, the two of you just stood there, the silence crackling like a live wire. You could feel the pulse in your throat, the heat building between you both, thick and heavy. But just as quickly, Bucky’s expression shifted.
He grabbed your arm again, this time not in anger, but with a calculated force. He was done with the game.
Without a word, he dragged you to a private room, locking the door behind you. The silence inside felt suffocating, and you could feel the weight of his presence, pressing in on all sides.
“What the hell were you thinking?” His voice was harsh, the words coming out through gritted teeth. You leaned against the wall, your arms crossed, still maintaining your playful attitude.
“What? He was just a little older than usual. What’s the harm in flirting with someone who can buy me anything I want?” Bucky’s eyes burned with frustration as he took a step closer, crowding you against the wall.
“The harm is that you’re reckless. That man was old enough to be your father. What the hell are you trying to prove?” You could feel the heat radiating off of him, the tension between you both crackling like electricity. But you weren’t scared—not even a little.
“Are you mad that I wasn’t flirting with you?” You raised an eyebrow, feeling the rush of satisfaction return. You took a step forward, closing the distance between you, and kissed his jaw softly, just enough to leave your lips tingling with the sensation of his skin. Bucky stiffened at the contact, his expression flickering for a moment before his jaw clenched.
“This isn’t a game, Y/N,” he growled. “You think you can toy with me like that? I don’t give a damn about who you’re flirting with, but don’t be reckless.” You smirked, stepping back slightly, letting your fingers trace the collar of his shirt. “So what, you’re going to punish me for having a little fun? You don’t get to control me, Bucky.”
You were too close to him now, too close to that dangerous edge. The way he was looking at you… it was like a warning. You could feel the tension in his body, in the way his hands gripped your wrists like he was trying to anchor himself.
“You’ve made your point, Y/N,” he said, his voice dangerously calm. “But you’re not going to keep doing this. Not while I’m around.”
You crossed your arms, leaning against the wall with that same cocky smirk. “And what exactly are you going to do about it?”
Bucky stepped closer, his eyes never leaving yours. “You have no idea what you’re messing with.” His voice was tight, every word soaked with an intensity that made your heart skip a beat. “You think you can keep pushing me? Keep playing games with me? I’m not like the other men you’ve been with.”
You laughed, though there was a nervous tremor behind it. “Oh, I know. You’re different. You’re better.”
His lips curled into a dark smile, but it didn’t reach his eyes. “Better doesn’t mean I’ll tolerate you for much longer.”
And in that moment, something inside you snapped. You pushed off the wall, your hand reaching out to tug at his shirt. “Then make me stop, Bucky,” you whispered, your breath catching in your throat.
For a moment, he seemed to hesitate. Then, with a low growl, his lips crashed against yours. It was harsh, unrelenting. His grip on your arms was firm, his body pressing you against the wall as if he were determined to break you.
And, in a way, he was.
Bucky’s grip didn’t loosen. If anything, it tightened. His metal fingers brushed your jaw, cold against your heated skin, a stark contrast to the fire burning between you. His touch wasn’t soft—it was controlling, deliberate.
You should have been scared.
You weren’t.
Instead, you smirked up at him, eyes glittering with mischief, waiting to see how far you could push him. “You gonna lecture me all night, old man, or are you just mad I got someone else’s attention?”
Bucky’s jaw ticked. His thumb traced your lower lip again, slower this time, like he was testing something—testing you. “That what you wanted? To make me jealous?”
You shrugged, feigning nonchalance, even as your pulse betrayed you, hammering against your ribs. “Seemed like it worked.”
Bucky exhaled sharply, shaking his head like he couldn’t believe you. His grip on your chin suddenly dropped, only for his hands to find your hips instead. Without warning, he spun you around, pressing your front against the wall. The cold surface met your palms, your breath hitching as he leaned in close, his chest flush against your back.
“You have no idea what you’re playing with, princess,” he murmured against your ear, his voice dangerously low. “You think this is a game? Flirting with men like that, just to get a rise out of me?”
You swallowed hard, though you kept up the act, arching your back slightly, pressing yourself against him just to see how far you could push him. “You make it too easy, Sarge.”
Bucky let out a dark chuckle, but there was no humor in it. His metal hand gripped your waist, fingers pressing into your skin like he was reminding you of the difference between the two of you. “You think you’re untouchable ‘cause you’re a Stark? That daddy’s money keeps you safe?”
You turned your head slightly, your cheek brushing the wall, a defiant glint in your eyes. “So what? You gonna teach me a lesson?”
Bucky’s hand slid lower, gripping your thigh just beneath the hem of your dress. His fingers squeezed, just enough to make your breath catch. “Someone has to,” he muttered, his breath hot against your ear.
The tension crackled between you like a live wire, thick with something neither of you wanted to name. His fingers flexed against your skin, as if he was holding himself back, teetering on the edge of something dangerous.
Then, just as suddenly as he had pressed you against the wall, he pulled back.
You spun around, eyes blazing, chest rising and falling with rapid breaths. “That’s it?” you taunted, tilting your head. “All that talk, and you’re just gonna walk away?”
Bucky stared at you for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then, in a voice quieter than before, but twice as dangerous, he said, “who said I was walking away?” The door clicked, signalling it being locked. His dark eyes found yours once more, he closed the space between you both.
His hands were gripping your body, and you pressed your chest into his. Your tongues intertwined and grinding your body against his. Your arms wrapped around his neck, he picks you up and sets you on the table, hiking up your dress to your waist. He pauses, “no panties? Naughty girl..” you squeaked when his cold metal fingers dipped inside your warm wet walls.
You gasped his name, as he pumped his fingers continuously. He added another finger, you whined at the stretch “Buck— its s’much”
“Shut up and take it, you were so desperate before now you crumble at my fingers?” He asked mockingly. He sucked on your neck, he didn’t care for being gentle, you didn’t deserve it— and you didn’t want it. You like the roughness, the control he had over you. You squeezed down on his fingers, your body twitching. “You gonna cum doll?” You moaned, “yes”
Right when you were about to he pulled out, staring down at you with a cold look. “Bad girls don’t get to cum. If you want to— beg me.”
Your eyes widened, really? He was making you bed for it? As if!
He resumed pumping his fingers, his other hand wrapped around your throat tightly— not enough to block air restriction. You would feel the knot in your stomach tighten, and right when you were about to cum again— he pulled out. You whined, “bucky..!”
“Beg or you don’t get to cum.”
You glared, not believing him. Until he did it again, and again. He was edging you and you were about to lose your mind. “Please.. bucky”
“Please what, doll?” He smirked, “please let me cum!” Satisfied, he thrust his fingers in once more, finally bringing you to an orgasm. You screamed his name, luckily the loud music outside prevented it from being heard from the party. “Good girl..” he kissed your head as you panted.
Then he flipped you over, pressing your head into the table. “Bucky!” You gasped. He slapped your ass, watching as it ripples. He gently touches the spot that he hit, it slowly turning a red colour. “I know you like that so don’t even try to hide it, doll” you whined once more, and without warning, he thrust inside.
Your eyes roll back and your mouth parts to scream his name. He fucks you senseless, listening as you get cock drunk— to stupid and fucked out to comprehend his words. Degrading you and he occasionally smacked your ass, his hips roughly snapping into yours. He gripped your hair, pulling your head back and pressing your back to his chest. He grabs your head and turns it to face him, kissing your mouth.
You feel yourself slipping, on the verge of climaxing again. “You look so pretty like this, doll” your makeup was smeared, cry’s watery and a bit of droll leaking from your mouth. You cum at his words. He continues thrusting, dropping your hair, and letting you fall on your stomach on the table once more. He threw his own head back, his cock twitching inside you before he came.
Ropes and ropes of cum, he pulled out with a pant, watching as your pussy was clenching around nothing, leaking of a mixture of both of your cums.
He smirks at his work, touching your ass before zipping up his pants. Whispering, “you’re mine, doll” before leaving.
You were breathless, and feel to your knees. You legs couldn’t stand— not without shaking. Still, you felt a sense of achievement.
This was far from over

Dad Bucky Barnes
Tumblr media
Summary: Bucky and you give a talk to your daughter after her being called to the Principal’s office.
Note: No use of y/n or specifications of the character. Drabble inspired by this gif and my love for the idea of Bucky as a father.
Also, my main language is not English. If there’s any mistake please let me know kindly 🥰
“So… how was school today, Becca?” Bucky tried stating the conversation. You were silent, collecting your thoughts and sanity, after receiving the call from the principal.
Your daughter, Rebecca, was called in to the principal’s office because she almost hit a classmate of her. Apparently she was about to get in a fight with a boy. If it wasn’t for her teacher, the poor kid would probably had left with a red cheekbone or something like that.
“It was… not great.” She said from her car seat in the back row.
Okay, at least she’s not trying to lie about it.
“Really? How so?” You continued, trying your best to sound as normal and collected as possible.
“Hmm… the pincipal talk to me.” She was waddling with her tiny hands while looking down at them. Such a cute little copy of you.
“What for? Something good?” Bucky tried to get more information from her before you slammed the breaks anxiously waiting for her to explain.
He regretted not being the one on the wheel.
“Mmm… not really. I… I did something that Ms. Medina and the pincipal say is not good.”
That made your eyes immediately look at her through the rearview mirror. Thankfully you were at a stop sign and you didn’t have the necessity to hit the breaks.
Before you could say anything, Bucky spoke. Trying to keep the peace.
“Oh? So you think you did something good?”
“Well yeah, Gale is a bad boy. He needs to be better.” Rebecca was more confident while explaining now.
“A bad boy huh? What makes him a bad kid?” Her father continued investigating.
“He bothers my friend. He pulls her hair when Ms. Medina not looking and he always push her in playglound time.” Her tiny arms were crossed, showing she was mad while remembering all this kid did.
“And what did you do, Rebecca?” You asked. Thankfully almost home.
“I told him to stop, many times. And he not stop!”
“And what happened after he didn’t stop?” Your husband continued.
“I was mad. And I want Gale to be good and I push him. And then I go to hit him but Ms. Medina says stop and to go to talk to the pincipal.” She said so fast she even got her eyes glossy.
You arrived to your home’s driveway just in time.
“You wanted to hit him? Why Rebecca? That is not how you solve problems, you know that.” You said, no longer containing your self and looking back at her once you stopped the car.
“But he a bad boy! Daddy always hits and fights bad mans!” Rebecca tried her parents to make sense.
Well she’s not wrong. You and Bucky look at each other and sigh.
“Becca… you can’t just go around wanting to hit people… that’s not… you just can’t do it.” Bucky tries to explain while getting out of the car to help her daughter out.
“But daddy you hit and fight! And then bad mans are good mans.” Her pouted lips and tone showed how much she didn’t understood what she did wrong.
Bucky couldn’t resist that little baby cute face when he opened the door. He almost gave in and left the conversation there, but he sighed and placed his arms on his hips while trying to find a way yo explain. Thankfully you came to his rescue.
“Baby, remember that Daddy has to do a lot of work before going to stop bad guys. And that’s what he does, prevent them from harming others. Once words and reasoning does not work, your dad just tries to stop the bad men to make more harm.”
“But I tried talk to Gale.” At this point, tears were rolling down her eyes, making both Bucky’s and your hearts tight with regret for causing those tears in a way.
Bucky, finally giving up, piked her daughter up from her car seat and hugged her tight while soothing her.
“Princess, its okay. We understand that you did what you thought was right.”
“Yeah, you are a great friend trying to defend your classmate. We are very proud of you being a good friend.” You swiftly dried her tears on her chubby cheeks with your thumb. “Just remember that it is important you always remember that violence is not the answer.”
“You can always talk to your teacher and to us. And if the teacher can’t solve it, we are going to do everything in our power to help you and your friend. We will always listen and help you, no matter what.” Bucky adds, moving her daughter so that he can carry her with his right arm.
“You pomise?” Her eyes finally stop crying while hearing that.
“I promise baby. I’ll tell you this, mommy and I will go to talk to Ms. Medina and the principal tomorrow morning and help your friend out. That sounds good?”
“Yes, thank you daddy. Thank you mommy. Im sowy.” The three of you share a hug, still at your house’s driveway but not caring one bit.
“Oh my sweet girl, we know you are sorry.” You left a sweet kiss on her forehead. “You now know better and you will continue to be that sunshine friend you are.”
“We love you, Becky.” Bucky says while giving her a noisy kiss on her cheek that makes her laugh. “So much.”

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(completely italic dialogues - casters commentating)
All the hollering from the lounge died down when Natasha practically shoved both Sam and Bucky off the couch, stealing the TV remote in the process. Their basketball game can wait, her girlfriend’s tournament is more important.
“Oh, shoot. Y/N/N's tournament is today?” Sam suddenly remembered and Bucky made a quick detour out of the lounge to fetch Steve and possibly the others. They kind of promised you they'd support your game this time around, with the knowledge that they had free time on the dates of your tournament. Sam snapped his fingers, “Snacks. I'll be right back.”
No, you weren’t a professional athlete; if anything, you’re the opposite. Your wrists move more than your whole body most of the time, you only stay an hour or less in the gym, and you prioritize getting better in Aim Lab than a shooting range.
Ever since women playing in VALORANT E-Sports were normalized, you were one of the anticipated gamers to compete, of course you were on board and signed on to an esports organization and team roster. You’ve made a name for yourself in the gaming industry because of your high IQ and big brain plays. You used your head in every match, every round unlike the majority of the players mindlessly aiming and not landing shots. Because of your career, you’re known for something else and not just Iron Man’s daughter.
Natasha didn’t like the fact that you were glued to your computer most of the time at first. She thought Tony spoiled you too much even as an adult, but she later on realized that you graduated with a degree before settling into gaming. You worked for the Avengers, sometimes as an IT for a big company which paid more than you needed. You were basically set. All of this while you were still pretty young, a little younger than Natasha.
It’s safe to say all of Natasha’s doubts went away. She felt rather impressed and took a liking to you, which developed into something more over time.
From her phone, you chuckled when you heard Sam and Bucky’s shuffling. “We’re not up for another thirty minutes, babe.” On your end, you and your team were with the event's coordinators backstage of the actual place the tourney was held. Natasha always called you before and after your events, just because she was the best supportive girlfriend ever.
“I know, I wanted to set everything up before anything else,” Natasha put you on speaker while she dealt with the TV’s settings. You smiled to yourself, absolutely adoring your girlfriend even more when she was eager and supporting your games. “Are you guys still at the hotel?”
You had to travel out of the country for the tournament. As much as Natasha wanted to go with you (Clint wanted to go too because he ‘needed a break’, you just rolled your eyes at him and laughed), being a full time hero and an Avenger doesn’t mean you get to travel 24/7. She has to be with the team in case something terribly wrong happens, which doesn’t come with a warning. “Backstage, actually. Cloud9 and Misfits are wrapping up their last match right now,” You replied. “I've already warmed up at the hotel earlier. It's crazy how our room fits all of our PCs.”
“Ah, c'mon, you don't need no warm-ups!” Sam teased, hearing you on speaker as he walked back with refreshments and an assortment of chip bags.
You giggled, rolling your eyes at the Falcon’s words. “Stop it, Sam. You know me; I always get tilted when I play too much before the actual competition.”
Sometimes you get anxious and it affects your performance, same goes for when you warm-up too much; you lose focus the more games you play, leaving nothing for the tournament.
Despite Natasha's excitement to watch your team play, she’s not too vocal about it. She wouldn’t squeal when it starts or bombard you with loud encouragement through the call, because one, she doesn’t want to be the embarrassing girlfriend, and two, she’s the Black Widow. She’s naturally subtle about everything. You knew her more than anyone else though, so even if that was the case, you still felt her support.
Thirty minutes went by quicker than you’d hope, you were so caught up in watching the game of the other rivaling teams and commenting on everything that happened whilst still in the call with Natasha. You also answered Bucky’s queries when he came back; he’s only ever heard of e-sports since you started competing in it. He couldn’t imagine how hard switching point of views and the player’s face cameras must be. Bucky has only watched, what, actual live game tournaments, basketball or chess or whatever. It was confusing to him at times, but you told him he’d get used to it eventually just by taking note of the red and blue colors.
You were cut off by one of your teammates placing a hand on your shoulder, signaling you that it was time to go. “Alright. Nat, I have to go, I’ll call you when I get back?”
The two men were the first ones you heard react, Sam shifted in his seat excitedly while Bucky wondered out loud if he should call Tony, Peter, and Bruce, who were all unnecessarily working overtime at the lab.
You felt yourself smile again when she spoke. “Okay,” Natasha bit her lip, feeling anxious about the tournament, “I love you.”
“I love you.”
“Good luck!” Sam shouted before you hung up.
Natasha almost snorted when she heard loud footsteps coming towards the lounge entrance. Her sister had the worst timings ever.
“Someone decided to take a long shit while we were heading back. Has Y/N’s game started yet?” Yelena walked in as fast as she could with Fanny, looking at Natasha expectantly as she shrugged off her thick coat and got out of her boots. Fanny ran to where the couches were as soon as Yelena removed her leash, wagging her tail happily without a clue in the world.
“About to, but you did miss her on the phone.”
“Ah, fuck.”
Soon, Bruce, Tony, Peter, Wanda and Vision came down to watch as well. Your tournaments were one of the occasions the team had the chance to bond and get together in one room, it definitely helped with the morale as Steve would think, and they have you to thank for that.
Everyone was just in time to see you walk out to the stage with your team and the opposing one. You were in your team jersey and arm sleeves with your teammates behind you in a straight line.
Tony woot-ed, plopping down next to Natasha. “Heard Y/N/N's team is going up against a brand new team roster. This should be a piece of cake for her, eh?”
Peter sat down beside him, looking at the said rival team with yours, all lined up on stage. “I don't know about that, Mr. Stark. One of them recently went viral after getting five aces on a ranked game. She's radiant, too.”
Admittedly, he also played VALORANT with you and Ned, but often miscalculates his strength as he frequently breaks his keyboard or mouse because of freaking out whenever he sees an enemy. His reflexes and fighting skills were better off used in real time.
“And Y/N/N's been on the top ten leaderboard for, what, six months?” Tony challenged, evidently confident in your skills.
The chatter on who's better than who died down when both teams sat down on their respective computers. Though it wasn’t that noticeable to most people, Natasha noticed it right away: you were wearing the necklace she gave you. You considered it your lucky charm.
After both teams chose the maps they wanted to ban and maps they wanted to play, the game started.
You mostly play the character - or agent - Killjoy. The agent reminded you so much of yourself from her overall vibe and game mechanic: she had utility to aid the whole team, from turrets to alarm bots, and an ultimate that conducts lockdowns on any part of the map. You were so used to that character that you even played her on maps she’s not very helpful at because you mastered everything about her, which made you stand out from other players as no one would dare use characters on maps they weren't good in. Gears were practically turning in your head as the game loaded.
Then, the first game commenced.
The Avengers always made noise whenever you got a kill, or whenever the casters praised you for outsmarting the opposing team, which Steve and Bucky appreciated because it was hard for them to distinguish whether or not you did something good.
Your team easily won the first game. The Avengers were now watching your tournament on the flat screen TV like a bunch of teenagers watching a romcom, all giddy and filled with anticipation.
“Look at that, 13-1? She’s insane." Bruce shook his head. A team needed to win at least 13 rounds to win, if it's neck and neck, 14, or they may choose to go into overtime.
“I’ve never seen Y/N play with that kind of aggression before; they don’t stand a chance.” Wanda pointed out. She liked to spectate from the side whenever you played at the compound, whenever she could.
Natasha’s lips turned upright when they replayed your team’s best moments. One included your one versus three clutch, in which you threw a taunting, questioning look at the opposing roster across the stage after you effortlessly took out three enemies on your own. It was like their heads weren’t in the game at all.
The team laughed when they showed the exact clip of your face camera mocking the other team across the room. Natasha liked that about you; sure you were reserved and shy in general, but she loved it when all your confidence just comes out while you’re out there.
Another clip was when you had a problem with communication, so you weren’t aware that there were enemies around. Your character didn’t stop running because of that and you were exposed to two enemies. You reacted fast and jumped, pulled out your vandal to shoot both of them in the face.
Tony clapped his hands together at that moment. “Let’s go. Let’s fucking go, Y/N/N.”
Natasha, not all that phased on your brilliant play, could still not contain the smile on her face as she plopped back down on the couch.
“What? Wait, hold on, how did she even-” Sam looked back at everyone while they reacted to the highlight. He didn’t exactly process what happened because you moved too fast.
“God reflexes,” Yelena shrugs, not looking away from the screen. Wanda laughs in agreement.
After a bit of commentary and commercials, it was on to the next match on a new map.
Now, Natasha did not know the difference between the multiple maps at all, but she did remember you mentioning that your weakest one had to do with ice.
The next match was on a map called Icebox.
So, she watched intently as your team took a little while during the agent selection. But in the end, you decided to go for Killjoy again. Natasha could only guess what you had in mind to pull off another win.
“This is highly unusual for [Team Name] Y/N, isn’t it? Right now she’s watching the flanks when we usually expect her to be out there with a duelist to try and take picks!” The caster exclaimed, looking at their partner caster. “She’s one of the strong sentinels who you would trust to be by your side - and look at that, she takes out two already, they did not expect anyone to be holding the flank!”
“But she's using Killjoy again - couldn't she have gone for Cypher or Sage? Then again, they already have Skye on their team.”
Even though you were trying to play smart in this map, you still hated it, it was your weakest one. Still good, but not all that great. The opposing team seemed to know the typical Killjoy strategy on the Icebox map. You got sniped every round and your setups were way too predictable to the opposing team.
Soon, the score was 4-10. It was definitely not good to be on the end of only winning four rounds. Your team had to win the remaining rounds or hope for the best and go to overtime, or you lose this game and go onto the third one which would be way nerve racking and increase the odds of losing.
“Intense match so far we've got here. With [Team Name] Y/N at the bottom of the leaderboard this just has to be a miracle for [Team Name] to get a second win and move on to the next round.”
“There's also a bit of a setback with her shots in the last few rounds. I guess this is when we get to see if she's learned a thing or two from her girlfriend, right?”
Natasha rolled her eyes. “They honestly did not have to bring that up.”
The other commentator expressed confusion at their partner's comment.
“The Black Widow! [Team Name] Y/N's been dating her for the last couple years. Honestly, where have you been?”
Everyone groaned as they started bringing your dating life to the conversation when they should be sticking to the game. Tony chose to laugh it off to and ignore the annoyance, whereas Yelena mumbled, “Did they just turn into a morning show now?”
After everyone in your team died, you all decided to ask for a timeout to talk things out. While that was going on, the Avengers had their own timeout and were trying to talk about the game, or at least what they thought was happening.
“Okay, assuming we've all seen how this Killjoy character works, her character would make most sense if her utility was in Site A." Bruce said, in thought.
Vision, one of the smartest of the bunch, had not grasped the game mechanics that well over the hour and half of the tournament. "But why is that, Dr. Banner?"
“Site A is pretty cramped, while site B has a lot of space. Of course the opposing team would always go to B since Y/N’s character's utility can't place utilities in both sites, they only have limited range," Peter points to the map as soon as it's shown up close, the casters having their own separate conversation about it.
Bucky turned to a confused Steve and Sam, “I have no idea what they're talking about.”
“Where else would she put her chicken gun on site B, then?” Tony joined the conversation, talking about your character's utility placement.
“It’s,” Natasha sighed. “It’s not a chicken gun...”
“Well, that chicken gun slows down enemies, right? It would make sense if Y/N places those bomb thingies to instantly kill them.” Yelena said.
“Lena, I think Y/N is fairly capable of playing the game right,” Wanda chuckled.
“Then she should be winning.” Yelena said jokingly, chugging on her drink.
It was astonishing how a group of heroes are knowledgeable about a video game, just so they could follow what you enjoy doing. That's how much they adored you.
Clint entered the room and looked at the source of ruckus, absolutely sick of the discourse. He was aware of your tournament and has been probably spectating on different means. “They still get another match if they lose this one. It’s the best out of three.”
“I’m starting to think someone’s cheating, has anyone noticed that some of the opponent team instantly kill them with only one bullet?” Steve squinted.
Tony scoffed. “That’s ridiculous, it’s a tournament.”
“It’s because they hit them precisely on the head, Steve. Who wouldn’t die if they got shot in the head?” Sam crossed his arms.
“Me,” that came from Vision.
“You don’t count.”
They all turned back to the screen once the timeout timer ran out. Natasha could sense the tension in your team, just from the way you glanced across the stage… she could tell you were gonna have a different way of playing the remaining rounds. The screen turned to you stretching your neck from both sides, seriousness evident in your face as you clutched your mouse, ready for the game to resume.
“And we're back, and it seems that [Team Name] had enough time to come up with a different game plan. We've got one duelist camping B, one on mid, and look at [Team Name] Y/N's utility. She's got her alarm bot and nano-swarms over on A, but her turret is on B as she's over by tunnel to keep it active.”
“Again, I have no idea what he's talking about.” Bucky shrugged, crossed his arms and kept his eyes on the screen.
After fixing your team's strategy, all that was left was to deliver with accurate shots and stay alive as much as possible. By the end of a few rounds, with your team’s communication and teamwork flawless than ever, the score was 12-11. Your team only had to win one more time to officially win.
At this point, Yelena and Wanda were loudly reacting to the gameplay, Sam and Tony were howling, rooting for you. Clint ended up setting himself on one of the sofa's arms, invested in the match.
Natasha was on the edge of her seat, clutching the couch cushions. She couldn’t help but chuckle when they showed your reaction momentarily, clearly breathless and eyes wide, fist bumping your teammates seated beside you.
“Oh, what a comeback! The most intense so far, am I right?” The caster exclaimed.
“[Team Name] only has to win one more round before moving on to the next part of this tournament!”
The last round wasn’t exactly in your team’s favor in the half. Three of your team got killed already, only two of you remaining and the five of the enemy team. The rival team obviously did not want to hand over the win that easily.
After the call of another successful kill by the opposing team, you were the last one standing against a full set of players. You would either have to clutch up the round or go into overtime.
Clint perked up, pulling out his wallet. “Alright, who wants to get the bets started?” He asked, placing down a crisp fifty dollar bill on the coffee table. “Y/N wins the game.”
They all stopped to look at him as if he was a madman.
“C’mon, Barton, it’s one versus five.” Sam pointed out.
“So what? Am I the only one who believes in Y/N here? Oh, Nat, you better start placing fifties.”
Natasha merely rolled her eyes, not once wanting to bet on or against her girl. Her eyes glued to the screen in which your character is cautiously checking if the area is clear to plant the bomb.
But Tony pulled out the same type of bill from his wallet, placing it on top of the archer's money.
“Mr. Stark, you do realize you're betting against-” Peter started.
“Hush, spiderling. Watch the game.” Tony brushed him off and watched the screen intently.
Tony was proud of you, truly. But it would also be funny to tease you lovingly when you go home as a loser.
You set up your utility, kind of surprised the whole enemy team went to the other site in which they thought you were heading. They did not leave anyone behind to make sure, as per your cautious scan of the area before settling. After checking all angles again, with thirty seconds to spare, you planted the spike.
“This is a dangerous game to play. She has to hold a lot of angles by herself, they could come in from anywhere.”
The spike continued to beep, which added a lot more tension among the Avengers. Natasha alternated from looking at the actual game to your face camera, of which was the only one left colored. You kept pacing at one of the hiding places, waiting for the slightest noise or actions from the other team.
You decided to peek at one of the entrances to the site once, the Jett with an operator narrowly missed your head so you took the opportunity to blast her head off. Afterwards, your alarm bot from the other side of your hiding place went off, so you went and peeked quickly, managing to pick off another player from the opposite team. Two down, three to go.
The Avengers erupted in noise. Sam and Peter were losing their minds, Bucky and Steve had amazed grins on their faces, and Natasha was clinging on to Yelena and Fanny like a fangirl trying to contain herself.
“What was that?!”
“She's a god!”
“My god, this is way too intense for me.”
Both commentators erupted in surprised glee as well. “A double kill from [Team Name] Y/N! The others are slowly making their way into the site, what will she do?!”
A Sova fired a dart to hopefully reveal your location on the map, but you were too quick to shoot it down to cancel it. But, the Sova spotted you anyway, and was able to shoot you until you were at only 50 HP.
You hid again and recalled your turret, placing it on top of the wall in front of you before sneaking your way to the opposite side. It could watch your back while you attempt to peek on the other side to surprise your enemies.
That move managed to catch one of the other players trying to sneak in as well, and you killed them off with ease. Three down, two to go.
“Down goes [Player Name]! Sova and Yoru are still on the lookout, it's like an intense version of hide & seek up in here!”
Barely anyone was talking now, all eyes on the enormous screen.
“Y/N has her ult!” Peter pointed out.
That you did, as your third kill managed to unlock enough points for it. Aware of its availability, you hurried off to the perfect spot to plant it to cover almost the entire site, still hidden from your enemies. Killjoy's voice rang through the game, saying 'Initiated!', when you planted her ultimate.
“What's that? What's happening?” Steve asked.
“Well, it's called 'lockdown', so I'm assuming it's locking off the area within its perimeter... trapping everyone inside...” Bruce said, lost in thought because of the game.
The Yoru activated their ultimate in time with yours, and you were now twice as cautious, looking around for blue swirls of the duelist to avoid getting sniped easily. He tried to blind you, but you were quick to move your view away from the flash to avoid it. Stupidly, the Yoru's ultimate ran out while trying to destroy your lockdown, so you killed them without hesitation. Four down, one to go.
Clint cackled at the turn of events while the others continued to freak out, teasing Tony, a billionaire, on losing a fifty-dollar bet. “What did I tell you, Stark?! What did I tell you?!”
The spike's beeps started getting faster and you could finally see the finish line. But, you were still cautious as they still had more than enough time to defuse if they managed to kill you.
“You know, [Team Name] Y/N could just leave the site at this point. It's game over for [Rival Team Name].”
“Ah, don't speak too soon there! [Team Name] Y/N's now inspecting the outer corners of the site, unaware of [Rival Team Name] [Player]'s sneaky entrance - and she's placed a smoke down, ready to defuse!”
Of course you were unaware of the opponent's whereabouts. But, you did hear the defuse sound go off for a second. With that, you head back, holding a grenade to throw near the area of the spike.
“She's got this in the bag.” Sam said in content.
After a few seconds, the defusing sound started up again, but you were certain that the grenade you set off did some damage to your opponent on top of the information you got from your teammates before they died.
You started to jiggle-peek from your spot, clearly visible from your opponent's perspective, so they had no choice but to stop defusing the spike to try and shoot you.
Unfortunately, they did a number on you, so you decided to go around. Once the cooldown reset on your turret, you placed it down on one side for intel. With only 20 HP left, you snuck up to the other side of the obstacle to hopefully pull off a knife kill for the finale.
“This game is way more intense than I thought.” Bucky spoke thoughtfully amidst the suspense-filled silence.
“Shhhh!”
“Oh my god, she's got her knife out.” Natasha said in disbelief, watching your character sneak up behind your opponent whose back is facing you.
“So?”
“Just wait for it.” Natasha bit her lip, knowing fully well how you always prefer a devastating way to end a match.
The commentators were freaking out, a combination of “no's”, “don't do this”, and “not like this” rang through the Avengers' speakers. It was considered devastating in the VALORANT community to be killed in game with a knife instead of a gun or anything else. The opponent is oblivious, having already defused half of the spike, but they didn't know what would soon come.
You strike your knife at their head, killing them instantly, the spike left undefused. The game graphics became slow motion while the screen flashed green with 'VICTORY' in the middle of it all. You stood up almost immediately, proud of your savage last kill, fist-bumping all your teammates.
“AN ACE FROM [Team Name] Y/N! [Team Name] IS GOING TO THE MASTERS!”
You hugged your team as well before turning to the camera nearest to you, blowing hot air onto the lens, and tracing a heart followed by a cheeky grin and a wink.
“Yup, she's a Stark alright!”
Roars and cheers emitted from the commentators, the present audience, and the Avengers. Sam yelled and everyone followed, but the loudest one was Clint, who then swooped down to collect his cash prize for winning the bet. Tony didn't care at all, laughing along with the others; he had something new to brag about his kid. Natasha's cheeks flushed, as they always did when it came to you.
“SHE WON!”
“I'll get the booze!”
“In your face, Stark!”
“Cap, you stepped on my foot!”
Natasha unlocked her phone to take a quick picture of the livestream of the heart you drew on the camera, as well as of the stage displaying all of your team's headshots with an abundance of confetti almost covering it. All she wanted now was to call you, but she knew you probably had interviews and post-game rituals with your team, and she had champagne to drink with her own team in celebration of you.
The next morning, on a quick flight back home, the first thing that caught your attention was Natasha's Instagram story of the tournament. Your family supported and watched the tourney for you, as the following slides of her story consisted of the team chugging on champagne, Clint showing off an apparent bet that he won, and Peter and Sam posing in front of the TV when your face camera was shown up close.
Smiling, you liked her stories and replied with 'Thank you for supporting me, my love. I'll see you all soon'.

I also had lots of problems with university and i didn’t know how to solve them so i kinda let the blog aside for a while. Just the time I wrap my head around everything.
But I missed you so much and i missed writing your requests so here i aaaaaaaaam
*****
“Hello my little love” Bucky immediately smiles as soon as he sees his beautiful baby in her curb.
You immediately start to kick your little feet when your eyes catch on your Daddy. He stands above your curb and takes you in his arms “were you good today, babydoll ?” He gently asks, resting his forehead against yours
“I’m sure you were. You always are my cute little bunny” he gently teases your little belly making you giggle louder than when he came back. You push his hands away and the tickles stop right away. Bucky chuckles along with you and kisses your nose
“Did you had fun today with Papa ?” He asks, gently swaying you side to side
“Oh yes we had so much today” your Papa says as he enters the room. He immediately comes to your side, in front of your Daddy “isn’t that right, princess ?” He smiles as he grabs your hand, letting your little fingers wrapping themselves around his.
“Do we tell Daddy what we did today ?” He whispers. You softly hum and nod your head before resting it again against your Daddy’s arm.
“We started by a delicious breakfast, only fruits and two wonderful pancakes” he starts to wonder the tip of his index around your face “then we went to the park until it was lunch time, we ate something outside and then came back home. We kept playing inside the house because of the sun and then bath time”
You love how he talks to you, his voice singing a little, his eyes full of memories. But mostly, his eyes were watching you deeply. And that’s what you loved the most.
“Ohh seems like you had the best day ever” your Daddy exclaimed
“Yes it was!” Your Papa smiles “and look what i have in my hands to make it even better” he shows you your bottle of milk and you immediately make grabby hands to the bottle
“Easy, easy baby” he shushes you gently
Once you finish, he takes it back and put it on the nightstand. Your Daddy puts your paci in between your lips and starts swaying you again.
“Aren’t you the cutest” your Daddy whispers more to himself but you heard him. You crack into a smile and your little hand reach up to grab his nose, making him laugh.
He kisses your palm making you giggle “ ‘gain” you say between your giggles. He chuckles and kisses your hand again.
“Hey! what about me” your Papa complains
You giggle and give him your tiny little foot which makes him laugh even more. He grabs it and at the same time, him and your Daddy cover the part of you they have in their hands with kisses making you genuinely laugh. The kisses were way more ticklish than you thought and you absolutely love it.
Your Papa laughs at how your giggle got more louder when he kissed your toes “you definitely are the cutest”
This game exhausted you more than you thought you soon find yourself fighting for your eyes to stay open.
Your Daddies of course saw it and know exactly why you don’t want to fall asleep. Without you noticing, they start to try to make you sleep. Your Daddy draws small circles on your skin, humming a a lullaby while your Papa was sliding his index from the hole between your brows down to your nose.
That always makes you sleepy and you’re soon fast asleep in your Daddies arms.
“Good night my beautiful girl” a sweet kiss is dropped on your forehead
“We love you so much” another kiss is dropped on your hand
And with that, both of your Daddies go to their bed and lay you down between them, cuddling you all night long

You were hoping that your dad wasn’t home yet. You didn’t want him to know that you hurt yourself at school today. In gym class, you guys played basketball and you got knocked down and fell onto your wrist. Now, it won’t stop hurting. You should’ve went to the nurse’s office for an ice pack, but you had a feeling that she was going to call your dad.
You looked around the apartment when you got home from school, wondering if your dad was home or not. You didn’t see him and assumed you were in the clear. Or so you thought. He came home shortly after you did.
“Hey, doll. How was school?” Bucky asks as he hugs you.
“Good.” You replied.
Bucky noticed the way you were holding your left wrist against your stomach. He was hoping that you weren’t getting sick or something.
“Do you have a stomach ache or something?” He asks, referring to the way your wrist was against your stomach.
“No. I hurt myself at school is all.” You say.
“How?” He asks.
“We were playing basketball in gym today and I got knocked down and I fell onto my wrist wrong.” You tell him.
“Be careful next time, kiddo. I don’t want you to end up with a broken wrist or something.” He says.
“I will.” You say.
You went to your bedroom and closed the door behind you, sighing to yourself. You hate that you didn’t tell your dad that your wrist hurts really bad, but you didn’t want to worry him. He’s a worrier when you’re sick or hurt. You took an aspirin for the pain and did your homework. The pain subsided till you were almost done with your Geometry homework.
“Doll?” Bucky knocks on your bedroom door. “Are you finished with your homework? I was thinking that we could go out for dinner.” He says.
“Almost.” You say with a smile.
Bucky nods and smiles, closing your bedroom door so you can finish your homework. Your smile fades away. You winced in pain, holding your wrist. You finished your homework, trying not to let the pain get to you. You put your homework back in your backpack when you were done. Bucky was watching TV when you walked in the living room.
“I’m done with my homework.” You say.
“Where do you want to go eat?” Bucky asks, shutting the TV off.
“What about that diner we like?” You suggested.
“Good choice, kiddo.” He smiles.
On the way to the diner and during dinner, Bucky watched you wince in pain every time you moved your left wrist. It was starting to get worried.
“Are you sure your wrist is ok?” Bucky asks.
“It’s fine, dad. It’s probably going to have a bruise on it tomorrow or something.” You say.
Bucky took that as an answer. He kept his eyes on you. On the way home from the diner, Bucky could tell you were holding back tears due to the pain you have in your left wrist. He pulled over into a random parking lot and put the car in park.
“Show me your wrist.” Bucky says.
“Dad, I’m fine.” You say.
“You’re clearly not. I can tell you’re in pain.” He says.
You stared at your dad for a second before rolling the sleeve of your sweatshirt up. Bucky took a look at your wrist.
“I hate to say it, doll, but I think your wrist might be sprained.” Bucky says.
You whined, your eyes filling with tears.
“You’re going to be fine, doll. Let get you checked out in the emergency room and then we’ll go home, ok?” He says softly.
“Ok.” You almost whispered.
Bucky took you to the emergency room to get your wrist checked out. Your anxiety was through the roof. You didn’t want to be there. Lucky for you, your dad stayed by your side the whole time.
“I want to go home.” You whined.
“We’ll go home in a little bit.” Bucky says softly.
You pouted and slouched in the chair. You sat up straight when the doctor walked in the room.
“Good news is your wrist isn’t broken. Bad news is it’s fractured and you have to wear a wrist brace for a few weeks.” The doctor says.
Bucky felt relieved to hear that you don’t have any broken bones. He is curious to know why you didn’t tell him that your wrist was hurting earlier.
You got a wrist brace and then you finally went home. You were set up in the living room and watching your favorite movie.
“Doll, I want to talk to you for a moment.” Bucky says, sitting down next to you.
“Am I in trouble?” You asked, pausing the movie.
“No. I want to know why you didn’t tell me you were hurt earlier.” He says.
“You worry about me a lot and I didn’t want to worry you.” You say, feeling bad.
“I worry about you, because I love you and I don’t want anything to happen to you.” He says softly.
Your eyes teared up. Sometimes you forget how much Bucky cares about you like you’re his own child. That’s why he adopted you shortly after he saved you from HYDRA a few years ago.
“Don’t cry, doll. I’m not mad at you.” Bucky almost whispers, pulling you into a hug.
“I’m sorry for worrying you.” You apologized.
“You don’t have anything to apologize for. I understand.” He says softly.
“Yes I do. Sometimes I forget how much you care about me.” You say, your voice cracking.
“Oh babydoll…” He whispers. “You don’t need to apologize for that.” He whispers again, kissing the top of your head.
Soft sobs slipped past your lips. Bucky held you, his hand rubbing your back to comfort you. Your crying stops after a few minutes.
“I’ll always worry about you, doll. You’re my kid and I love you.” He murmurs softly, kissing the side of your head.
“I love you too, dad.” You smiled up at him.
You pressed play, picking up where you left off on the movie. Bucky watched the movie with you. You learned that you shouldn’t hide any kind of injury from your dad.

winterwidows daughter having a full blown argument with Tony bcs only Tony would argue with a 3 year old
Toddler Showdown
WinterWidow x Daughter!Reader
Summary: You get into a fight with your Uncle Tony
———
The storm raged outside of the Avengers Tower, Tony and Y/N sat on the floor of the Avengers Lounge, drawing pictures and chatting. It didn’t take long for an argument to break out.
You stood her ground, hands on your hips, glaring up at Tony with all the determination you could muster. "No, Uncle Tony! I want the red crayon, not the blue one!" you declared, your tiny voice carrying surprising authority.
Tony raised an eyebrow, amused yet undeterred by the pint-sized challenger before him. "Well, Y/N, you see, the thing is, the blue crayon matches your eyes much better," he countered, his trademark smirk playing on his lips.
You scrunched up her face, unimpressed. "I don't care about my eyes, Mr. Fancy Pants. I want the red one!" you insisted with a yell, your tone dripping with sass.
Tony sighed, leaning down to your level and speaking with an irritated down. "Listen, kid, I've got a whole collection of Stark Industries crayons here, and trust me, the red one is so last season. You're better off with the blue. It's more... avant-garde."
You narrowed your eyes, unyielding. "Stop using big words, Uncle Tony! No one cares about your avo-garden!" you retorted, an annoyed and angry glint dancing in your eyes.
Tony shook his head, his huffing blending with the amused chuckles of nearby Avengers who had gathered to witness the spectacle. "Hey Y/N, that’s not nice, you can’t speak to me that way. I’m older and you are three therefore, you listen to me," he said in a tone that said he was done with the situation, he started taking her the red crayon with a gentle tug. "Mark my words, one day you'll appreciate the finer things in life."
You snatched back the crayon with a victorious grin, your triumph was evident on your face and proudly displayed as you showed your prize to your parents, who watched with equal parts amusement and pride.
Natasha and Bucky exchanged amused glances, impressed at their daughter's feisty spirit. "Looks like she takes after both of us," Natasha remarked, her eyes twinkling with affection.
Bucky chuckled and knelt down to your level. "Did you take that from Uncle Tony?" he asked nodding towards Tony, who was now standing up, shaking his head and crossing his arms.
You nodded your head with a proud smile. “Yes, Daddy! I got the red!” You cheered with an excitement only a toddler could have about a crayon.
You ran back over to Tony and stuck your tongue out at him. “I got the reddd! I got the reddd!” You said in a teasing voice and giggled as you sat back down at the table.
However, the arguments were far from over as you both engaged in a lively debate about the merits of finger painting versus crayon drawing.
As the argument raged on, Natasha and Bucky couldn't smirk from their spot on the couch, they knew it was just harmless arguments that wouldn’t affect each other's bond but they couldn’t help but admit they were always amusing to watch.

summary: when you are on a mission with your uncle Steve, you accidentally become part of a large, secret Hydra experiment, and suddenly, you return to the compound as a toddler…
pairing: Winterwidow x adopted daughter teen/toddler reader
warnings: none I think
genre: fluff
words: 3333
a/n: I remember reading something with the reader turning into a toddler a long time ago, and the idea always stuck with me. I figured it would be really cute to do it with an adopted reader, because it means that Natasha and Bucky have never taken care of a toddler

 |——————————— ⴵ ———————————|
A simple mission. That is what Fury said. A simple data collection. In and out.
“Simple,” Steve scoffed as her carried a sleeping 2 year old in his arms. As it turns out, the mission was not as simple as Fury had initially stated. The Hydra base was in fact, not empty, and you, were in fact, not ready.
Fury had assured Natasha and Bucky you would be fine. You had been with the Avengers since you were 11. You had been fighting your entire life before that, and now you were with the Avengers and all you wanted was to follow in the footsteps of your adoptive parents.
Natasha and Bucky couldn’t be more proud, yet they also couldn’t be more worried.
You had never been on a mission before. Natasha and Bucky deemed them to dangerous, and you were only 16. They didn’t want you on missions until you were at least a legal adult.
You were upset of course when they told you, but it didn’t take you long before you understood. Missions were dangerous, and despite your upbringing, you were simply not ready yet.
However, when Fury came to Natasha and Bucky with a file, which contained an easy mission, they decided you were allowed to go.
It would be a quick in and out mission. There wouldn’t be any danger and your uncle Steve would be with you. Everything would be fine, except it wasn’t.
The mission appeared to be more complicated than Fury had originally thought, and the Hydra base seemed to be anything but abandoned. The scouts Fury had sent out prior to the mission had been deceived. It was a trap, for you.
You had Steve had gone inside the base, finding the control room and copying the data.
However, when you were copying the data Steve heard strange noises coming from the hallway. He told you to stay put and finish the data transfer while he went to check.
You did as he said, continuing to transfer all the data from the computer.
However, once the screen displayed 100 percent, all electricity in the room fell away. The door fell shut, and a red light was all that lit up the room.
You pulled the usb out of the computer in a haste, trying to see if you could get the door open. You were unsuccessful, and despite your training, you were starting to panic. You could hear grunts and blows landing not far from your location and so you figured Steve was fighting off multiple Hydra agents.
After you unsuccessfully tried to open the door, you took a step back, taking a deep breath and emptying your mind. You tried to remember what you father told you.
“Don’t dwell on situations gone wrong. Accept the unexpected. Don’t stand around whining. Try to find another way.”
You could hear your father’s voice in your head, repeating the things he had taught you. Don’t dwell on the situation, you repeated in your head as you turned around, scanning the room to try and find something else that could help you.
It didn’t take long before you spotted the end of a vent in the ceiling, and after pushing the large computer from the desk, you moved it over to the wall.
You climbed to stand on top of the desk as you inspected the vent, figuring you could fit through if you managed to get it open.
The metal was screwed into the wall rather tightly, and the vent wouldn’t budge as you tried your best to pull it open. While focusing on the vent, you failed to notice Steve trying to talk to you through the door.
Once you heard him yell your name, you turned around, jumping off the desk and making your way to the door.
“It’s a trap! They’re gonna do something to you!” you heard Steve yell as he tried to get the door open. He too failed to open the door, despite his super soldier serum.
You ran back to the desk, climbing on it once more and trying to open the vent with much more force than before. This was supposed to be an easy mission. You wanted to make your parents proud. You’ll be damned if you get trapped back with Hydra because of it.
However, after you tried your absolute best to get the vent open, you still failed, and the red lights in the room started to flicker as an alarm could be heard.
Smoke started to fill the room and you tried to hold your breath for as long as you could.
It didn’t take long before you had to breath again, and as soon as you did you felt the smoke work its was inside, infecting your brain and your senses. You lost your balance and fell off the desk, unable to break your fall as the smoke fogged up your brain, confusion taking over.
You tried to stand. To get to the door. To get to uncle Steve, but it was worthless.
You laid on the floor until you lost consciousness.
After the smoke had taken effect on you, the alarm stopped. The smoke disappeared from the room and the red light returned to normal. The door sprung open and Steve rushed inside.
However, what he found was not exactly what he was expecting.
There you were, sitting on the ground with a pile of suit around you. You were no longer sixteen, you were a toddler. You looked to be around two, and because only your body had shrunken, the suit you were once wearing was way to big, and so it piled up around you.
Once you saw your uncle Steve your recognised him immediately, even in this from, and you giggled and smiled as you reached your little arms up.
Steve picked you up quickly, rushing back to the Quinjet and discarding of your suit, wrapping you in a warm blanket instead. You had a few cuts and bruises on your little body but they didn’t seem to bother you in the slightest as you giggled and laughed while playing with Steve’s beard.
He sighed as set the coordinates for the Quinjet back to the Avengers tower, contemplating on how the hell he was going to explain this to Natasha and Bucky.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Once Bucky and Natasha heard that the Quinjet was landing, they rushed to meet you, wanting to hold you in their arms and assure themselves you were safe.
However, when Steve walked off the Quinjet, a confused and guilty look on his face while carrying a little child, they could only think the worse. Natasha and Bucky rushed over to Steve, asking what had happened to their child. They needed to know you were safe.
Steve chuckled dryly as he held your tiny form up, and the moment you saw Natasha and Bucky you started smiling, reaching for Natasha, wanting your mama to hold you.
Natasha took you from Steve confused, before she took a good look at the toddlers face and realised that it was indeed, you.
“Y/n?!” Natasha exclaimed confused.
“Mommy!” you giggled happily as you buried your face into her shoulder, exhausted from the journey.
“Wasn’t she sixteen when we sent her with you…?” Bucky asked confused, a dangerous tone hidden underneath his playful one.
“Well, you see, she got hit with some kind of strange gas and now… well… she turned into a toddler…” Steve explained, scratching the back of his head while avoiding to make eye contact.
“What…?” Natasha asked even more confused, rubbing your back gently as you fussed before you settled down again.
“I don’t know what happened. The Hydra base we were at was not abandoned, but they didn’t try to hurt us. I left her alone for just a minute while I went to fight other Hydra agents off, and when I came back, well…” he finished, motioning to your sleeping form.
“I’m really sorry…” Steve added apologetically as he looked down.
Bucky took a deep breath before laying his hand on his best friend’s shoulder.
“We’ll go and see Bruce. Hopefully he can help us reverse it,” Bucky stated. Steve looked up at him confused, before he noticed Natasha’s massive smile while she interacted with your younger self. Maybe this wasn’t all bad.
-------------------------------------------------------------
After speaking with Bruce and Tony, Natasha and Bucky found out that your little form was reversible, but that it would simply take time. They stated that eventually the effects of the gas would wear off, and then you’d be back to your normal, teenager form again.
Natasha and Bucky thanked them as they made their way to the living room, you still happily in Natasha’s arms.
Bucky had already started planning an entire mental list of all the things they would have to get for you. I mean, you were two years old and the only thing that adorned your little body was the fuzzy blanket from the Quinjet.
There weren’t any clothes for you. There wasn’t anything in the Avengers tower for a two year old.
On top of that, Natasha and Bucky had never taken care of a toddler before. You were eleven when the Avengers saved you, and you were eleven when you were adopted by Natasha and Bucky. They didn’t know the first thing about taking care of a young child.
While Bucky rummaged in the kitchen, trying to find something appropriate for you to eat, Natasha sat on the couch with you in her lap, playing peek a boo while you giggled and tried to copy her movements.
Bucky eventually settled on grabbing you an apple, coming back from the kitchen and handing it to you.
Natasha gave him an unimpressed look when you took the apple from Bucky’s hand, studying it for a second before holding it back up to Bucky. Bucky looked confused, sending Natasha a glance for help.
“She’s two, James,” Natasha simply stated as Bucky hesitantly took the apple back.
“Daddy cut,” you stated as you pointed at the apple, and Bucky immediately realised how stupid he had been.
He went back into the kitchen, hearing you giggle as Natasha stated, ‘stupid daddy,’ in a playful tone. Once he returned with the apple, cut this time, he sat beside Natasha, holding the little bowl while you reached for a piece.
You happily munched on your apple slice while you laid down on Natasha’s chest.
Perhaps they should lay you down for a nap soon.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Clint had heard about what had happened to you. He had immediately started digging around in the old clothes from Lila and Nathaniel. The clothes they had kept from Lila were all baby clothes, and so he settled on just grabbing some of Nathaniel’s clothes.
He arrived at the compound quickly, finding you still sitting on the couch, finishing your last apple slice.
Natasha held you close as she softly rocked you back and forth, a happy and content smile on her face. She loved you more than anything in the world. She loved your shopping trips, your determination when you insisted on certain songs during car rides. Your ability to make Bucky say yes to whatever you asked. But she could not deny how much she had longed to hold you in your younger years.
Holding you, in your two year old form, was everything she had ever wanted.
You were so small. So fragile. So young. Natasha was more than grateful that she gets to experience you being so small as well.
Clint smiled at the sight, walking into the living area and sitting on a chair close to Natasha and Bucky.
“She’s adorable,” he stated as he got a good look at you.
Your little head perked up at the sound of his voice. “Uhncle Clint!” You stated happily, tripping over your words as they came out as a mushed up mess.
“Hello there tiny,” Clint responded as he smiled at you.
“I got you some of Nathaniel’s old clothes. I couldn’t find anything from Lila’s but I figured this will do for now,” Clint explained to Natasha and Bucky as he handed Bucky the clothes.
You little arm immediately reached towards the pile of clothes, sitting up straight in Natasha’s lap as you pulled the clothing items out of the perfect pile, wanting to see all of them. Eventually, you reached for a shirt with little planets on it. You held it up to Natasha.
“On mama,” you stated firmly, to which Natasha laughed while she helped you into the shirt.
Eventually, you were happily dressed in a miss matching set of pajamas, leaning into Natasha again as your eyes started to fall close.
“I think it’s time for a nap,” Natasha stated as she stood up, holding you tightly to her chest as she made her way towards hers and Bucky’s bedroom. Bucky followed her as they went into the bedroom, Natasha laying you on the bed.
“Do two year olds wear diapers…?” Bucky asked, deep in thought while he contemplated putting a diaper on you or not.
Natasha let out a huff of amusement before handing a diaper to Bucky.
“Yes they do,” she stated as she sat down on the bed, making sure you kept laying down as Bucky gave her a confused look.
“Well go on dad, put a diaper on your kid,” Natasha stated playfully, listening to your giggles as Bucky’s face heated up.
“I don’t know how…” Bucky stated, a little embarrassed.
“Come on super soldier, I’ll talk you through it. It’s not that hard,” Natasha explained as she motioned for Bucky to get to work.
-------------------------------------------------------------
After Bucky’s diaper adventure you were asleep pretty quickly, all the excitement from the day catching up to you as you slept peacefully on the big bed. Natasha had laid pillows all around you, building some kind of wall to ensure you wouldn’t roll out of the bed while you slept.
After you were down and content, Natasha had offered to go to the mall to pick out a few necessities for you. Bucky had reluctantly agreed, even though he was terrified to take care of you. You were only a little baby, and he was terrified to hurt you.
Natasha had assured him that he would do great, and Clint had offered to stay nearby incase Bucky would need anything.
And so, Natasha happily went to the mall, shopping in all the baby stores as she put way to many objects in her basket. She had never had such an experience before. Sure, she occasionally picked up a thing or two for Clint’s kids, but getting to pick out stuff for her own little girl felt entirely different.
She had already received a dozen texts while she was gone, all from Bucky as he slightly panicked with every sound or movement you made.
Natasha chuckled to herself as she read through the texts, assuring Bucky you were fine and that you were just sleeping like any normal toddler would.
“Are you looking for anything specific?”
The question pulled Natasha away from her phone, turning to look at the woman beside her. She had a kind smile on her face as she scanned the objects in Natasha’s basket.
“Oh, uhm, I’m not sure,” Natasha stated, giving the woman a smile back.
“Your first child?” the woman asked, and Natasha nodded with a bright smile on her face.
“It was unexpected, to say the least,” she chuckled at her own joke, watching the woman’s face as she smiled kindly.
“How old is she?” the woman asked, judging by the basket contents that you were a girl.
“Two,” Natasha stated as she picked up another set of pajamas, the pattern a collection of different cartoon drawings of your favourite animal.
“It’s a great age. I loved it when my kids were that age,” the woman told Natasha.
“Children that age often want comfort items. Does she have anything like a stuffed animal, or maybe a special blanket?” the woman suggested, and Natasha thought for a moment before shaking her head.
“No, I suppose she doesn’t. I should probably pick one up for her,” she stated as she gave the woman another smile, moving to walk over to the stuffed animal section.
The woman trailed behind her and guided her towards a collection of adorable bears, all dressed in various pajama sets that were sold around the store.
“You could get one with the same pajamas as your daughter,” the woman explained excitedly, picking up a bear dressed in the same pajamas that Natasha had picked out earlier.
Natasha took the bear, thanking the woman before making her way to check out.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Once Natasha arrived back at the Avengers tower the first thing she noticed was how the common area was a chaos. Clint and Wanda were looking around while Bucky just paced around panicking.
Natasha walked over to Bucky, a determination to calm her boyfriend down before he would have a mental breakdown.
“Y/n’s gone,” Bucky stated as he say Natasha come into view.
Clint immediately turned around upon hearing Bucky’s words, letting out a chuckle and walking over to Natasha as well.
“For the record, y/n is not gone, she is simply playing hide and seek,” Clint started, looking around. “And she’s damn good at it…”
Natasha laughed as she set her bags on the couch.
“Y/n? Sweetie, it’s mommy. I have some things for you,” Natasha stated in a sing songy voice, her ears immediately perking up when she heard your excited giggles coming from her right.
There you were, running as fast as your little legs could take you, straight for Natasha’s lap.
You jumped up on the couch, climbing onto Natasha as you hugged her tightly.
“Mommy!” you exclaimed happily, giggling as Natasha attacked your face with kisses.
“Was my little princess hiding from daddy?” Natasha asked as you nodded, still giggling as you pointed over to Bucky.
“Daddy not finding me!” you exclaimed, stretching out to give Natasha a kiss on her cheek.
Bucky sighed with relief as he moved to sit down beside you two, his large hand stroking your back, it almost being as big as your entire back. You giggled and pushed yourself away from Natasha, using her shoulders to push yourself up so you could give Bucky a kiss as well.
“I best at hid and seeking,” you stated proudly, and Bucky chuckled as he nodded, giving you a kiss on your forehead.
“Look what I have for you my little malyshka,” Natasha said as she reached into the bag, pulling the stuffed animal from the bag and handing it over to you.
You smiled brightly, immediately hugging the bear tightly to your chest when you got it into your hands.
“Matching pajamas…” Bucky stated with amusement as he pulled the pajama set from the bag, holding it up for you and Natasha to see.
You gasped in excitement as reached over to it.
“On mommy, on,” you stated as you managed to get the pajamas in your hands.
Natasha chuckled and helped you out of Nathaniel’s old clothes, ripping open the packaging of the new pajamas and helping you put them on.
“I look like bear!” you exclaimed happily as you looked at yourself, holding up your bear for Natasha and Bucky to see.
“Yes you do doll,” Bucky stated as he pulled you into his lap, showering your face with kisses.
Both Natasha and Bucky would never say it out loud, but they hoped you would stay a two year old for a little while longer, loving the new domestic feeling it gave them to raise a little kid. Of course, they loved you and they would be more than happy when you were to turn back into your teenage self, but they couldn’t deny the fact that they wanted to enjoy holding your little form for as long as possible.
